Vavara POV
When Alek woke up he knew something was wrong. But I couldn’t bring myself to say anything, yet.. what was I supposed to say? That some.. man visited me throughout the night claiming that I was his?
“You need to tell him,” Vera said. I sighed as I climbed out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me.
“How, Vera?” I asked. I was afraid that if I told him.. he’d tell me to decline the deal and try to get rid of this man himself.
“He’s our mate, Vavara.. we can’t keep this from him. He deserves to know.” She said. I wiped away a stray tear and let out a shaky breath.
“Fine,” I said. But I didn’t see it going well at all.
The man gave me a proposal. Agree to be with him after Alek is gone.. or he’ll kill Alek and take me anyways.
