As I walked to the office my heart pounding I wondered why they was waiting for me. As I entered there was a blonde woman with a slim figure waiting sat in the chair. Her facial expression was less than neutral. As I went to introduce myself she cut me off. "I'm Alisha Walker, I have been instructed to do an assessment." Her voice was stern like a head mistress that was about to discipline you for mouthing off. Short and clipped. All that I could think to say was "why?"
She took out her paperwork and double checked before speaking "there has been a anonymous report to us that you are taking cocaine to loose weight"
My head span and my breathing became heavy. Who would make something like this up? Before I could form the words my mind blanked. In nanoseconds Jez had come to the rescue putting me in my box and relaxing my body she took a deep breath. "Okay well this is clearly malicious lies, although it appears you clearly believe it so how about instead of presuming you go and get a test right now and see for yourself instead of acting so arrogant and treating me as though I am guilty instantly?"
She did a double take clearly taken off guard. Well done Jez is all I could think.
She paused and slowly began to try a different approach "oh there won't be no need for that just yet" there was a sudden sugar sweetness to her voice. I didn't trust her and neither did Jez. "No you will go to a chemist with me right now I will bring you into the toilet so you know it isn't a false test and then you will promptly apologise to me and be on your way" Jez's voice was authoritive and clear that she wasn't budging on this. "Ok" Alisha said a wobble to her voice.
Jez opened the door "after you" gesturing for Alisha to move. They walked about 10 minutes down the road and walked into the closest chemist. £11.99 and a further 10 minutes later Jez handed the test to Alisha. As she read the results she mumbled "okay sorry."
As she went to walk away Jez cleared her throat "not a chance are we done here. Who put in the complaint. I deserve to know" the anger clear in her voice. Alisha looked at her paperwork once more. "I'm not allowed to disclose that" She stated matter of factly. Jez wasn't having that she grabbed the paperwork out of her hand and saw 'report made by Tina Erica Little' both me and Jez were seething.
Alisha snatched her paperwork back. "Don't do that again" she said sternly. I was angry but Jez was more so. "Get out of my home and do not come back" she said through gritted teeth.
As Alisha left promptly Warren brought Lily out of her room and Jez went back on her chair laying back as my legs gave out and Warren caught me. "What on earth was all that about?" He asked.
Lily was eating dinner as I began to tell Warren what it was all about he was as angry as I was. Tina had left the school after being made to apologise publicly but she was out for blood.
