The morning came and panic set in I felt Eva clinging to me before the realisation that it was her set in I had already flung myself from the bed my entire body shaking. Jez shouted in my mind 'calm down Cassie it's just Eva!' My heart beat was racing my breathing erratic. As I tried to calm myself down Eva looked at me like I was a lost child. "It's okay Cassie, it's just me, you're safe" her voice was soft and calm as Eva slowly approached me holding out her hands. As my vision cleared fully and my eyes adjusted my heart beat slowed to a calm pace "sorry" I said sheepishly embarrassed by my reaction.
