Weed root. What would a wolf need weed root for? I couldn’t get her out of my head. When I caught her, I swear I felt her magic spike, but then when I tried to figure out what she was I could sense a wolf, a very minor trace of a wolf, but it was still there. I was only at the spell shop because the twins wanted me to make a tracking charm because apparently their mate had run away from them. I could have gotten one of the guards to collect the ingredients but I needed to get out of the house and, lucky for me, I got to meet Lexi but she ran from me as well. What is it with mates running away from us? When she ran out of the store, I chased after her but all I found was the list of ingredients she dropped. I thought I could smell the faint traces of a transporter charm but it had dispersed too quickly for me to fully lock onto it. I guess now I’m going to need two lots of locator spells.

I head home to make the locator spell, bumping into the twins on my way into my office. Obviously, they have been waiting there for me to come home and give them some news. Seb says impatiently “So have you found her.” I replied “uh no I didn’t, but I did have a chance encounter with another beautiful lady, though she ran away from me, as well must be something in the water, all the ladies are running away” I say as I prep my cauldron and other supplies, I pull out the list with her elegant handing writing on it.

Ross picks it up and says “what’s this?” He pulls it up to his nose and inhales. I go to grab it from him, and he pauses and smells again and hands it to Seb. Seb gives him a puzzled look and takes it and smells it as well. “Mate”, Seb says when he finishes smelling it. “Mate? No, this is from the girl I met at the spell shop; you said the girl you met was human? The girl I met had a wolf!” I say, “No, we said we thought she was human but she managed to transport out of the bathroom”, Seb says. “Yes, that means she could be a witch not a wolf?” I say. “Why would she be in a spell shop, maybe she knows a witch who wrote the list?....... so, if we find the wolf we may find the witch” Seb says as he hands the list back to me.

I make the spell and place the note in the cauldron, I soak the charm and once done I place it on the map. The charm starts to slide across the map, it starts to slow over a bunch of buildings located in the business district, then starts to go crazy, darting back and forth, not pin pointing an exact spot. “What the hell, she can’t be moving that fast?” ross says staring at the map. “no, she must have a powerful protection charm that hides her location, they are not fall proof but does not let you narrow it down exactly” I say. “so what we just have to walk around a whole block and a half and hope we stumble across her?” ross says “yes I think that’s our only option, you know what she smells like so maybe you will be able to narrow it down even further, but with how quickly she left the store she will probably put more protections in place”
