We pulled up to the building and parked. It looked like a plain office building. As I stepped out, I froze and gasped softly. Vanessa was at my side in an instant. Gage was hurting. His instincts were getting out of control.
"I'm fine," I assured Vanessa and she frowned. She looked at Leon.
"You sure this is the place?" She asked and he nodded.
"I made food runs here when he cut off my credit card. It was the best way to get money from him." We both frowned at him and he raised his eyebrows. "What?" Vanessa shook her head and dug into her bag.
"That is too much to unpack, honey. Are you sure about this, Oliver?" I held out my arm to her.
"I'm sure." She frowned as she uncapped the needle.
