I woke to the sound of knocking. I wiped at my eyes and I heard Gage groan beneath me.
"Go away!" He yelled at whoever it was in exasperation. There was another soft knocking and he sighed dramatically. I sat up and Gage frowned deeply. He stood and unlocked the door to open it for the person on the other side. "You woke Oliver. What is so important?" He said in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Dinner will be late today. Hannah had to run to the store." The male voice said and Gage growled and shut the door in his face. He shook his head and turned back to me. "I'm sorry they woke you." He stepped over and ran his fingers through my hair as I yawned softly.
