The doorbell rang a moment after Zach left out for his morning jog. ‘He’s forgotten something again,’ sighed Raven as she shuffled to the door in giant slippers. How someone so organised could constantly forget he needed water when running was a mystery. “Oh… hey,” Raven greeted Alissa. “Is Zach here?” Alissa’s craned her neck to get a view of the hall. She looked even worse than last night, dressed in sweatpants, a jumper and heavily scuffed white trainers with her hair pulled into a loose bun. Without makeup, small pimples were visible on her chin and shiny forehead and the bags under her eyes looked like they needed a luggage trolley.
