The bus seats rattled as the cumbersome vehicle lurched through the winding side streets of the southern estate. Alissa rocked on her seat, absentmindedly fingering one of the larger holes in the chequered orange and brown fabric. The council had replaced most of the buses with shiny blue double-deckers, but she always found herself on the last rusting dinosaur of the old fleet; the one she lovingly referred to as the shitty bus.   Screeching to a halt at the centre of town, the bus doors opened, and Zach boarded.
