I stopped screaming as the realization hit me. He was one of Ed’s friends. If I remember correctly, they called him Bo. He wasn’t one that I knew well; I had only seen him around occasionally and heard Ed mention him. I vividly remember the time I was introduced to him. He gave me the creeps then and still does. The way he had looked at me, like I was his next meal had sent chills up my spine. I remember telling Ed that I didn’t like him, and he laughed and said the boy was harmless. Yeah, really harmless right? Instantly my fear turned to pure rage. I was sick of Ed’s bullshit. I was sick of being scared, and of running. I was sick of worrying about my safety, my mate's safety…and most recently, my baby’s safety.
