Autumn
We walked slowly back up the driveway hand in hand. I was absolutely spent. I couldn't wait to take a warm hot bath and then snuggle under the sheets with Logan. He was kind of quiet on the walk back. I could tell something was on his mind. Then I heard him laugh to himself.
"What's so funny over there?" I said nudging him with my elbow. He shook his head and rubbed his stubbly chin with his palm. He stopped me in the driveway in front of the porch steps. Apparently he had something to say after all.
"Did you enjoy our little stolen moment back there?" He asked me. A coy smile on his face. I wondered where this was going. Silently I hoped it was going straight up to our bedroom.
"Of course I did. Why? Was it not obvious?" I tried walking up the stairs but he stopped me again.
