Logan For the first time in months I felt alive. Coming home last night I had never imagined it would have gone as well as it did. I walked into my house last night almost positive that she hated me. That it was all over. Instead, she rocked my world. The way her body hummed made my skin almost vibrate. I was worried I wouldn't be able to do this. That we could never be like this again. But she surprised me. I surprised myself. With a smile I wiped the sleep from my eyes, and practically skipped to the shower.  She was still sleeping when I got up. She looked so peaceful. On her tummy, mouth slightly open with a cute little snore in her throat. She was amazing. I stood under the shower, letting the hot steam wash away the what felt like years of mud and muck. I was happy to be home. back
