CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN Detective Katrina Mayer sat in Trev’s seat in the station, searching on his computer. Coffee was cold beside her and handwritten notes covered a notepad. Trev watched over her shoulder. “I can’t believe how brave Charlie is.” She opened a different search. “Brave wasn’t the first word I thought of.” Trev had filled Katrina and Bryce in on the events of the early hours.
