CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT Rosie had another reading with Harmony booked not long after Charlotte returned. Between customers and a busy phone, they didn’t get more than a couple of words in and as Rosie left, she’d told Charlotte she wanted to know all about her mother when she returned. Charlotte didn’t know what she’d tell her. She’d always kept her past private, or as private as possible. The bookshop quietened and she had no pressing jobs to do, so spent time looking at flights to Brisbane.
