Chapter 5

The next morning I got up very early because I was excited to start my day a mean my training. I got everything done in a flash including my morning workout then went to have my bath. After having my bath, I put on a plain White shirt and a rip jeans. I pack my bag with some training clothes, a black shirt and shorts. I laid on the floor listening to music and staring at the ceiling.  

Heart Break Anniversary by Giveon was blasting through my headset when I suddenly start singing.

“Just like the day that I met you, the day I thought forever, said that you love me, but that'll last for never, it's cold outside, like when you walked out my life, why you walked out my life?”

Tears welled from deep inside and coursed down my cheeks. Tears spill over and flowed down my face like a river escaping a dam. A solemn tear fell down my cheek; my body looked calm compared to how tangled my mind was. Moans escaped my lips through the suppressed sound of hiccups as my eyes bleed with pain.

I was in deep thoughts when I heard the door of the pack house open. I got up and rush out before all the other pack members were up. I traveled to Marie’s house to find her outside waiting for me. 

“ first lets start with some rules. Break them and I will break you. First thing first, under no circumstances will you tell anyone about me or even think about taking someone here.” Next you will never tell anyone who your parents are, if you do they will want to use you. Never trust anyone and if you feel your are being followed, go to the stream and go through the cave. The right turn will lead you to a farm which is about 5 minutes from here. The left turn leads you to another stream, it is a twenty percent chance that you will live if you fall in. With that said, we are going to start with some warm up stretches follow me.”

We worked out for a while and then I took a quick wash off and head to school. When I got their I was tired and sleepy. 

I made it to lunch time and was walking the hunting halls with only bullies. As I was walking I saw someone approach me and told me to move and so I did. Two other persons came and I looked up only to see Zack and his friends. 

“Stay away from my Luna you prick” said Zack. 

He then shove me and I landed on the floor of which my Spanish book went flying. I was about to get up and go for my book when someone came in-front of me as if he was handing me the book. He then throw it even further which sent the crowd laughing. 

Anna picked my book up and brought it to me while looking at Zack. 

“I whispered a small thank you and took the book.”

“You’re welcome” she responded with a whisper which kind of creeped me out a little. 

I stood up and and watched as she walked over to Zack and push him just hard enough for him to bumped in the locker behind him. 

Later that day and everyday day after that I went to Marie’s house to train. I was getting better and better. I was faster, was able to defend myself, I even took down Marie once well by surprise. It was more of a she allowed me to take her down.

it has even become a routine where Zack and his boys take every opportunity to torment me. 

Every day has become a cursed cycle, all because of Zack. As usual I was on my way to the cafeteria to have lunch and was waiting on Zack and his boys to approach me and give me my daily punishment. But to my surprise he was not their, I went to the cafeteria and look over to their table and it was empty. 

My relief quickly developed into fear not just any fear a life and death situation. Zack never missed an opportunity to make me a laughing stock. It was good to have a normal school day for once, but bad cause I know they are cooking up something for me.

After school I was singing and heading to my usual spot when a strong feeling or power over power my body. For a second I was scared and fear for my life, I feared that Zack was coming at me. I picked my feet up and dash off to the cave and went to Marie. 

When I got their I was breathless, I told her what happen and she told me my Alpha powers are over powering me which mean it is soon time to shift.

But I thought you said I will shift as soon as I reach the age of 18 and the next full moon is 20 days away. I though I would change during summer break I sign on my 18th birthday. 

“Something seems to be terrible wrong. She told me to go home and not mention a word to no one.” 

But I never made it home. 

I was on my way home when a sharp pain sent me crashing to the ground. I felt lost confused and was in so much pain I was unbreakable. I was fighting with the little strength I had using my hands and legs trying to control the wolf from coming out, try to prevent the shift.  After trying for what seems like hours and failing miserably, I slowly give in to my wolf. 

Howling and lots of it which sent the trees shaking and any thing within 60 miles radius would fear for their life. I heard breaking bones of my spine followed by my arms and legs twisting in inverse ways and then the fur and claws appeared and so did the canines. The next think I knew was that I was transformed into a gigantic white werewolf with blood red eye. 

My name Starrk, I can be a blessing and curse to you he laugh in my head. You are the only wolf that has a mixture of thunder and fire. Your are the most powerful Alpha in the world, with my sister by your side you both are unstoppable he laugh. 

Alpha’s and Luna’s all over felt the coming of me. In my past life I was known as the Alpha King, the wolf everyone feared. Tell no one about me, or else they will try to kill you.

My wolf and I talked for hours until the pain was subdue and we made our way home.
