This wasn’t the first time Melissa’s parents is leaving her to travel for days on business trips, they’ve been doing that for a long time now ever since she was a still child, and Catherine didn’t understand why Melissa haven’t come to term with them not being around all the time, she knew that it hurts when the people you want to be around with the most seem to distance themselves from you.
