I weary of jousting verbally with Sir Henry Bedingfield, which is my only diversion held here as captive. I am allowed to walk the grounds alone occasionally, which is a distraction from being continually watched. I often walk the far length of the gardens and round the side of the main building. If I stay out of sight too long however the guards come running and I am politely asked to return to the gatehouse.
