Could this day get any more chaotic than it already was? I was actually dreading what would happen next. I looked at Ulric, who was glaring at Katalina, Mason, and Alex. His fist clenched and unclenched by his side and he was gritting his teeth together. Nolan had followed me up from the dungeon and was right behind me as I exited the pack house. He ran over to Katalina and dropped down beside her, making Ulric growl even more.
“I have a mate. And Katalina is a dear friend to me!” Mason snarled, making Ulric growl louder.
Even though we were outside, the air felt stifling. I knew when I first met Ulric, he was a mighty Alpha. If I were a normal wolf, I would feel intimidated by him. Mason stood up and pushed his shoulders back and his chest out. Ulric pushed Logan’s arm down
