Chapter 7 Kurt followed Maggie into the unit’s offices inside the SPAWAR building. His opinion? She shouldn’t be back at all yet. They had been home a grand total of two whole days. She was still coughing, badly at times, and walking around the house for more than ten minutes left her winded and exhausted. Yet she was crazy stubborn and if he hadn’t driven her over here, she would have done it herself. And he wasn’t prepared to let her that far out of his sight. Maggie went to her desk and logged into her computer. Kurt sat on the edge of her desk watching. “I am sitting on my ass, doing absolutely nothing strenuous, in a secure building. Go. Scoot.
