Harley lay in the bed . not moving . something woke her up . a creak or a footstep. she could hear the bikers next door talking while they worked on their bikes . Drake , the one and only good thing that came out of an 5 year hell . lay on his side snoring softly . she quickly jump up and locked the door . gabbed the baby and gently put him in the back of the closet . in his safe place she has made just in case he found them . she opened her window for an escape . he was here laughing and trying to open the door . ..Open the damn door b***h . I want my son . she knew if he got in he would kill her . go away Clark the court said u had to stay away from us . leave or I will call the law . shadows pov: me and the boys are working on our bikes at my house tonight. some of the old lady's wanted a girl's night out at the bar so we all are hanging out here . I see the light turn on at the next door neighbors house . cute little thing with a cute kid that loves to find his way to my driveway every chance he gets . I see her open the window even though it's chilly out . then I hear her shouting at someone . hey y'all shut up a min . a hush falls over us a we can hear a man's voice demand the kid . then we hear wood splintering and the girl scream tank call the rest of the boys . we need to handle this s**t tonight I rush over as hear him yelling and screaming at her the baby crying and her pleading for him to stop . I bust through the front door and rush up stairs . as I come to her door I see him standing over her . arm raises to him her again but stops as he hears my gun c**k at the back of him head . I hit him full force and he slumps to the floor . I pull my phone out calling ma . as she rushes to the closet . little man is crying and reaching for her . someone better be dying for u to call me at this hour my child . hey momma . I'm standing in the middle of my bedroom holding drake as I can feel blood and tears run down my face . shadow motians for tank to take the baby and he practically jumps out of my arms to tank . come on buddy let's go see the bikes . shadow takes my arm and leads me down the stairs to the kitchen. grabs some napkins and starts wiping my face trying to see how much damage is done . the door opens and in walks more big ass bikers with a tiny older woman . shadow find me some towels and wash clothes . is the baby ok .hi sweetie my name is Grace but u can call me Mama Bear . sir on the stool and let's see what that asshole done to ur pretty face . Boys u know what to do with him . they go to do her bidding as shadow comes back with everything she asked for . my mind is racing ,how did he find us ,where will we go , do I have the money stashed away to start over with . um.. shadow we have a problem. one of the bikers came down the stairs saying . the bastard got out the window we can't find him . I jump up . Thank u for your help shadow but I have to pack we have to leave . Shadows pov Something in my chest tighten as she uttered these words . iv watched her since she moved in . Even tried to get her to come to the clubhouse for party's or cookouts . But she was always busy or didn't have a babysitter. at 5'6 or 7 curvey in all the right places . long brown hair and those deep brown bedroom eyes she was a knockout . Long ago I grew out of wanting the model type women . The club girls didn't do it for me anymore. I needed a real woman under me .one that could cushion me as I took us both to heaven . She didn't know it yet but once I got on my turf she would be mine . and the little devil of hers is just an extra bonus . chapter two Harley's pov as we pull up to the clubhouse it looks like they are having a party. um.... shadow I don't think drake needs to go in there . the noise will most likely scare him . It's fine we can go in the back way . he un straps drake and the little trailer cuddles up in his arms like he belongs there . we walk around the side of the building and walk into a big kitchen .. I could hear women laughing and carrying on . shadow smirks and leans down to my ear . the ole lady's are having a girl's night . I smile the winch as my lips bust back open . you will be staying in the room right next to mine . mama bear already called ahead and got a portable crib set up. we will have share a bathroom but I promise to knock first . we will get ur stuff for here in the morning and put the rest in storage at the back of the property. Sound good? Sure . but I still have to worry about a job . I mean I have some savings for a couple of months . I'll tell u what . if u can cook . I will hire you to cook breakfast and lunch for the club . Monday through Friday how does that sound . that way you won't have to draw from your saving at all . Really I love to cook and yes that would work. . ok. let's get you settled in and we will work out the details tomorrow since it's Sunday things will be slow around here . shadows pov .
