Holly   She paced the floor in her apartment for what seemed like hours. How would she summon Quasim and ensure he couldn’t harm her? Finch watched her with a predatory gaze from the back of the couch, his head following her path. Focus and clear thoughts were hard to come by in her jumbled mind. There were simply too many thoughts running through her mind at once for her to zero in on just one. Like a madwoman, her arms waved wildly as she mumbled partial thoughts out loud. Holly’s emotional state vacillated between utter despair and rage. After the tears stopped flowing, she picked up the nearest object and threw it against the wall. “It’s bullshit,” she growled. “All of it. It’s my fault that all of this has happened.” She turned and looked at Finch and the tears flowed once more. “
