Two weeks. It’s been two miserable weeks since I last saw Avery’s beautiful face and not for lack of trying either. The few times I turned up at her apartment, neither of the twins answered the door. It’s like they could sense my presence through the door. I’ve called and texted her every chance I get but still no answer. I refuse to ambush her at work though; I’m not a complete asshole.
I’ve been somewhat busy with work and attending Isabelle’s ex-boyfriend’s trial which Adrian successfully won, I might add. It’s no excuse for my behaviour but it’s so hard when Avery won’t even give me a chance to explain myself.
