The night that changed my life

As I sit on my front porch sipping on my sweet iced tea, watching my husband play with our two year old daughter, Kylnn, I can't help but smile, I never thought this day would happen I always prayed and hoped it would but when I was sixteen I was diagnosed with PCOS at first I didn't really give it any thought but as I started doing more research I figured out I would have a hard time if not impossible time getting pregnant I was bummed of course there is the weight gain, facial hair but all that can be managed. I wasn't the smallest of girls, but I was well toned from all the sports activities I did in school. I was 5 foot 11 inches , and 180 I had decent features. But as they say, life goes on right. So after graduating me and my best friend Ally decided to take a trip just to her and me. We decided on South Padre Island. We arrived sometime around 6 pm. we were exhausted. 8 hrs drive is never easy on anyone, but we were also starving, so we decided after getting our things in the beach house to go to a little restaurant a few blocks down. As we got seated and told the waitor what I would like to drink. I decided on just some water for now while Ally, of course, decided on a black cherry margarita. As I was looking around, my eyes found him, the blonde hair, deep blue eyes tanned muscular arms sitting there looking sinfully hot. I guess I was staring for a while cause all of a sudden, I see hands flying in my face. Hello, Earth to Sydney, " Huh, what" "I was asking you what you wanted to do tomorrow," oh, I was thinking maybe the beach and then a little shopping. As she started talking agian I couldn't help but turn my attention to him agian he was with his friends also but when looked to me and into my eyes and winked. I choked on my water and got as red as the lobster he was eating. I saw him chuckle lightly, and I knew this would be the night that changed my life forever. After placing our orders, I got up to use the bathroom, coming out of the bathroom not paying attention I bumped into what felt like a wall bur after getting myself together I noticed it was him he turned around and smiled, Oh, I'm so sorry I told him No worries, no harm here He held out his hand and introduced himself Hi, my name is Brad, smiling back at him shaking his hand, my name is Sydney it's nice to meet you. As I got back to my seat, I couldn't stop myself from looking over towards him, and he was staring just as much as I was. I gave him a shy smile and nodded. As Ally and I asked for our check, the waitor said it had already been taken care of. With a surprised look on my face, I asked who, and he pointed towards Brad's table. I said, "Oh ok, well, here is a tip and handed him 40 dollars." I got up and walked towards his table, Sorry to interrupt, but I just wanted to say thank you for paying for mine and my friends dinner. Ally walked up, and I introduced her to Brad.And Brad introduced us to his friend Kane. Hello, it's nice to meet you. Well, we are exhausted, so we are going to go back to the house. Hopefully, I will see you around. With that, we started for the door, and as we got outside, Brad was coming out restaurant jogging up to us Hey Syd, he said. Oh hey Brad, everything ok. I asked . Oh, everything is good. I was just wondering if I could get your number. Oh, umm, I hesitated or I can give you mine, oh ok, yeah, as he put it in my phone handed it back, winking and told us to have a good night. Ally startled me by grabbing my arm, saying out dreamy he was, and that Kane was a hottie. Also, all I could do was smile. As we got back to the house, all I had energy for was a hot shower. As I was putting lotion all over, I couldn't help but think of him, smiling. I put my pajamas on crawled into bed, drifting to sleep thinking of him.
