Dorian became exasperated as she tried to reach Jason to no avail . She had placed a number of video calls to him which had gone unanswered . She had then tried his cellphone only to be met with the same null response .
" I wonder what is happening with him ," Dorian said to Sandra . " It is unlike him not to answer calls . I have a bad feeling about this ."
" Why can't you leave him a message to call back ?" Sandra suggested .
" Sure , I will ."
" On second thoughts , don't you have your mother's contacts ? Or you can even call the house phone ."
" I fear calling just in case Dad happens to be in , or even pick up the call ."
" If he answers , you can pretend it to be a wrong number . You only need to know if everything is fine ."
