Settled in Dr. Wes’ office, Autumn told him about forgetting to take her medication.
“What made you forget to take it?”
“I was distracted working on who murdered Chrissy’s daddy.”
“How did you feel?”
“Fine. I didn’t have an episode, but took my evening dose.”
“Are you considering reducing your dose?”
“I’m not sure.”
“Let me know when you haven’t had a panic attack for at least a week and we can talk about lowering your dose. We need to take you off of it gradually, so make sure you take your medication as prescribed for now.”
“I will.”
“What’s this about investigating a murder?”
“You know about Gary Martin, Chrissy’s former pet parent. It wasn’t a heart attack. I want Chrissy to have closure, so I’m talking to suspects.”
