"What do you mean 'She isn't there'!?" I roar at the guard who has just been to deliver Jennifer's breakfast.
"Exactly that Alpha," my guard replies, trembling back.

I turn to my Beta.
"Lindon, I want the guards on duty thoroughly questioned about this."
