I have sent some of my fighters back, along with Trent and Drake to keep an eye on my Pack. The last thing I need is to be attacked while we are all away from home. The women and children depend on us, plus my Mother will be worrying. That also frees up some room in the house, although some of my fighters are so used to staying outside on guard that they stay sleeping in the back garden. Charlie is staying here with me.
My Amaryllis is deeply sleeping with a sated smile on her face, from all the joy of being one with me and finally meeting her Dad, the infamous Alpha Adam.
I go downstairs to get a drink of water and bump into Luna Pearl.
