Chapter 2
Lily's English teacher noticed her passion for writing, and encouraged her to enter a local writing competition (She was an SS2 b student at her school). At first, Lily was reluctant, but with a little encouragement from her teacher, she decided to give it a shot. At first , it was a kind of floppy because she came out 4th in the competition. But that never stops her from striving harder. The second phase of the competition came up, but this time she conquered the competition and won the overall best. This was the first time she had ever received recognition for her writing, and it gave her the confidence to start dreaming even bigger. She started to imagine a life where she could make a living doing what she loved.
So Lily's newfound confidence leads her to start exploring other possibilities for her future. She starts reading about different careers and talking to people who are doing work that she finds interesting. One day, she meets a woman who is a freelance writer, and she asks her about her life and how she got started. The woman tells Lily about the challenges and rewards of being a freelancer, and Lily starts to wonder if this might be the right path for her.

All this stuff was done without the consent of her parents. After speaking to the freelance writer, Lily decides to try her hand at freelancing. She starts by creating a profile on a website for freelancers, and she starts bidding on small writing projects. At first, she doesn't have much luck, but she keeps at it, and eventually, she lands her first gig. She's nervous about whether she'll be able to do a good job, but she gives it her all and decides to grind on.
Lily is feeling more and more confident in her abilities, and she's enjoying the freedom and flexibility that comes with freelancing. But there are still challenges, like having to find her own clients and manage her own time. She's also starting to wonder if she'll ever be able to make enough money to support herself. But she's determined to make it work, and she continues to put in the effort and learn from her mistakes.

But then something unexpected happens - she gets an offer for a full-time job doing the kind of writing she loves.
So Lily is faced with a difficult decision. On the one hand, the full-time job offers stability and security, but it would mean giving up her newfound freedom as a freelancer and to a white collar job which she never wished for herself. On the other hand, the idea of a regular paycheck and benefits is tempting. She goes back and forth, weighing the pros and cons of each option. Finally, she makes her decision.
After much deliberation, Lily decides to turn down the full-time job and stick with freelancing. She knows it will be a challenge, but she's confident that she can make it work. And she doesn't want to give up the freedom and flexibility that she's come to love. She knows it won't be easy, but she's determined to make it as a freelancer.

In the final days before the deadline, she makes a surprising discovery - her book is much better than she thought it was! As she submits the final draft, she feels a sense of accomplishment and pride. The publisher is thrilled with the book, and they start planning the launch. The marketing team is working hard to get the word out, and Lily is asked to do interviews and book signings. She's a little overwhelmed by the attention, but she's also grateful for the opportunity to share her work with the world. And then, the reviews start coming in. Some are positive, but some are less than glowing. Despite the mixed reviews, the book is a commercial success. And for Lily, that's not the most important thing. The most important thing is that she created something she's proud of and that she learned a lot in the process. Her parents congratulated her for following her dreams and the lifestyle she deserved. She's grateful for the experience and excited to see what the future holds. She may not have become a household name, but she's a better writer and a more confident person because of her journey.
