Run into Allen

Cedric's car looked very common, just like any other car on the street. But if Mira recognized the car's logo, she would have been stunned by its price.

Cedric's driving speed was as low-key as his car's appearance.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Mira was rather anxious about Jimmy's safety, "Can you please drive faster? I'm really in a hurry."

Cedric glanced at her, and his beautiful blue eyes flashed a small smile, which seemed to be a little dangerous, "Are you sure?"

His smile gave Mira a bad feeling, but she still nodded, "Of course... Ahhh!!!"

Her words were blocked by the sudden gust of wind.

Cedric slammed the accelerator all the way. The engine roared like a beast, the whole car was ejected like a missile, and the strong air pressure pressed Mira hard against the seat.

"You're crazy... Stop!"

The scenery flashed past the window at incredible speed. Mira was paralyzed with fear because they were overtaking other vehicles over and over again!

Cedric just chuckled, not slowing down.

Seeing that she couldn't stop Cedric, Mira tightly grabbed her seat belt with one hand and held the handlebar above the door with the other. She closed her eyes in fear and shouted, "YOU f*****g PSYCHO! For Christ's sake, I don't want to die!"

Cedric's response was to drive the car even faster. He was such a good driver that it seemed everything was under his control.

When they finally arrived at the hospital, Mira was so dizzy that she almost vomited. She stared angrily at the man in front of her.

Cedric seemed to be in a good mood after wild racing. He smiled and looked at Mira, "Here we are. You are welcome."

Mira was speechless with anger. Everything Cedric had done since they first met kept telling her that this man was INSANE!

Cedric opened the car door first, "Hurry up. I don't want to meet Allen."

Mira had to get out of the car to catch up with him. Today was the first day of her secret relationship with Cedric, and she didn't expect him to open the car door for her like a gentleman.

Arriving at the ward, Mira saw Jimmy playing alone with his toys, as usual. It saddened her that she couldn't give her little brother a better life, and the fact that she was just an Omega. But she did the best she could.

Hearing the footsteps, Jimmy turned around and exclaimed, "Mira!"

His pale little face lit up the moment he saw Mira. Immediately, he threw himself into Mira's arms like a little bird and giggled, "Where have you been these days? I miss you so much!"

Jimmy, just like Mira, had their mother's blond hair. She got a soft feeling in her chest as she rubbed his soft hair and said, "I miss you, too."

Jimmy poked his head out of Mira's arms and looked at Cedric curiously, "Why didn't you come with Allen? Who is he?"

"He is..." Mira paused, not knowing how to explain her relationship with Cedric to Jimmy.

Cedric smiled gently at Jimmy and said, "I'm your sister's ATM."

Mira gave him a shocked look.

How could he say that in front of a child?

Jimmy tilted his head, a little puzzled, "Mira, what does he mean?"

Cedric's smile broadened, "You'll understand what I mean when you grow up."

But Jimmy retorted, "I'm five years old, and the nurse said that I'm already a little man!"

Hearing this, Cedric couldn't help but chuckle.

Mira couldn't stand his nonsense anymore. She stood in front of Jimmy to block Cedric's view and said, "Jimmy, we are going to transfer you to another hospital."

Jimmy was a little disappointed, "But Mira, I don't want to go. I want to get out of here. I want to go to the amusement park, go to school like others..."

Mira was a little overwhelmed by Jimmy's words.

Cedric pinched Jimmy's little face, "Don't worry. You will make friends in the new hospital. There will also be an indoor park and library... I promise you will like it a lot."

Mira was surprised. It seemed that Cedric had already picked the hospital for Jimmy.

Jimmy cheered up again, "Wow, it sounds cool!"

But his grin quickly faded, and he got worried again, "Mira, can we afford the new hospital? You are working too hard. I don't want you to spend too much on me."

Seeing Jimmy's frown, Mira felt sorry for him. She couldn't tell him the truth, so she said, "I got it covered! Don't worry. I found a new high-paying job."

After saying that, Mira heard Cedric give a little chuckle from behind. She turned to glare at Cedric because she knew that Cedric was mocking her.

What was her "new high-paying job"? Since when was being a mistress a job?

Cedric noticed Mira's gaze, and he had to admit that her eyes were rather attractive. He was aroused by them when they were filled with lust last night, unable to get enough of her.

He stopped laughing at Mira and said, "Yes, your sister is right."

Mira then turned around and played with Jimmy.

Later, Cedric took Jimmy out of the hospital first, while Mira stayed to pack Jimmy's things and then went to meet them in the garage downstairs.

Mira was worried at first because Jimmy had a fear of strangers. Fortunately, Cedric was a doctor, and he was obviously good at dealing with kids. Soon, Jimmy was amused by his jokes and willing to leave with him.

Mira had to hurry and leave here before Allen arrived, but she forgot that she had never been favored by the Moon Goddess. To name a few, she had lost her mom at a very young age, and her little brother was still seriously ill...

And now, before she finished packing, Allen had appeared at the hospital. Mira could hear his shouts come from outside the ward.

"You said Jimmy Baker had just left the hospital? Where did he go?!"

"We don't know that either, Mr. Moore..."

"Damn you stupid f***s! How dare you allow him to leave the hospital without my permission?!" Allen was so furious that the nurses didn't dare to speak anymore.

Mira felt her heart racing and became so nervous that she trembled slightly. She had to leave this place right away, but she could hear Allen's footsteps come closer.

She could imagine what would happen if she ran into Allen now, but she couldn't just open the door and get out.

Mira opened the window and took a look down. Unluckily, this ward was on the six floors, which made her give up the idea of jumping out of the window. She looked around in a panic and chose to hide in the closet on the side.

Almost the next second, Allen kicked open the ward door!

The ward was empty, but he smelled the mixed smell of different werewolves in this empty room.

"How dare you, Mira Baker!" Allen growled and walked back and forth like a beast. He pulled his hair in a fit of rage and kicked out the infusion support beside him. The stainless stand fell to the ground with a loud noise.

Mira covered her mouth and stiffened with fright. She didn't dare to make a slight move at all. In the past, Allen could instantly tell that she was in the room through their mate bone, but now it was different. As long as Mira hid, Allen could never find her.

Allen stayed there for a while, gasping for breath. He was angry at first, and then he looked tired. Finally, there was a trace of sadness crossing his face.

"Why do you want to run away from me? You are my mate, Mira... Don't you know that I love you?" Allen murmured.

Mira had mixed feelings when she heard his whispers. She did love Allen deeply when they were together at first. After all, they were mates, and she could feel a strong attraction to him.

But Allen was also a ladies' man who always enjoyed spending time with women, and he even beat Mira up once he lost his temper. Mira had thought that they could have a happy ending, but things didn't go on as well as she expected.

Allen walked away as if he was about to leave, and Mira let out a sigh of relief.

However, Allen suddenly paused and took out his phone. He dialed a number later.

The next moment, Mira's phone in her pocket buzzed immediately! Jesus Christ! Allen was dialing her number!

She wanted to hang up the phone at once, but it was too late. Allen had already heard the sound and fixed her eyes on the closet.

Allen chuckled and said, "Mira, is that you? Are you playing hide and seek with me?"

Mira's legs were so weak that she could hardly stand. What should she do next?

Allen reached out and laid his hand on the closet with an evil grin, "Naughty girl. Tell me, what should I do to you after we get back?"

He slowly opened the closet door, while Mira nearly reached her breaking point.

Right at the moment...

"Allen, what are you doing here?"

Cedric's sudden voice stopped Allen.

When Allen saw it was him, he frowned deeply. Allen hated this half-brother very much, and he snorted contemptuously and said, "None of your business. What are you doing here?"

Cedric walked over to the closet and took out a cell phone from it. "Don't forget that I'm also the one who runs this hospital. I left my phone here when I made the rounds just now... s**t. Did someone just call me?"

"Is that your phone?" Allen asked suspiciously.

"What? You want to take a look?" Cedric retorted lightly, "You should go back now. Do you want Raymond to know that you had made a scene in the hospital?"

Cedric's words succeeded in provoking Allen, and Allen shouted, "You f*****g coward! What else can you do except complain to Raymond? You think Raymond would make you his heir? You wish!"

"Are you sure?" Cedric raised an eyebrow and asked back. It sounded like he was teasing Allen, "And, even if I did so, what can you do to me? Kill me?"

"f**k YOU!" Allen yelled as his pupils turned black with rage, and he suddenly lunged at Cedric and punched him in the stomach!
