Luna's POV

I angrily pushed back the strands of hair that covered my face. I understand that Mark is my boss and he is trying to act like one but I think he is crossing the lines. He is allowed to have fun and I'm not?.

I sighed depressingly and sat back on my seat. "Sorry for that" I forced a smile.

"It is okay" Nathan replied. "Is he your boyfriend? "

" No he is not.. He is just a friend"

" Just a friend? But he is not acting like one" He sneered.

Exactly my thought. This moment he is caring and the next moment, he is annoying.

" Can we just forget about everything and enjoy the party " I protested.

"Exactly. We should focus on the party and have fun" Charles chirped.

Just then, there was an announcement inviting couples to come up the stage and dance. I watched in awe as almost every one sauntered over to the stage with his or her date.

Does this mean all this people are in love? - I wondered. If only I could get an opportunity to test their love energy.

"Would you mind having this dance with me, princess" Nathan said, bringing me out of my thoughts.

" Huh?"

"Dance with me, please" He repeated with his hand stretched out, towards me.

"I.. I.. I can't dance" I chuckled nervously.

"I will teach you then, let's go"

" No.. I.. don't want to"

" Please.." Nathan insisted, gently dragging me along to the stage.

I looked at Mark's direction. He was drinking some liquor while Anna kept on telling him some things which I couldn't hear due to the loud music.

Jeez! If he continued at this rate, he is going to get drunk. Mum has once told me that alcohols are only meant for the law keepers. The law keepers are just like the cops in the human world.They make sure rules and regulations are obeyed in the fairies world.

Mum said they take alcohol before punishing offenders because it makes them lose their senses and do things they wouldn't do naturally.

How could Anna sit comfortably and watch him get drunk.

"Luna.." Nathan called, interrupting my thoughts.

"Huh?"

"Are you okay?" He whispered softly into my ears.

"Yes I am" I shook my head and forced a smile.

Nathan brought his right hand on my waist and to my surprise, I felt nothing but irritation and disgust. He slowly placed my hand on his shoulders.

I turned to Mark's direction again and I saw Anna's hand wrapped over Dave's shoulder, walking towards the door.

What the hell?

Is this jerk trying to leave without me? I couldn't believe my eyes.

Fine! I will give him what he wants.

Since he thinks he is the only one who can have fun, I will prove to him that I am a princess and I was born to just have fun. I guess it's time i show off all the dancing steps I have learned over the decades as a princess.

I was about turning back to Nathan when I noticed something odd about Mark's movement. He was limping and Anna seems to be dragging him along.

I quickly stepped away from Nathan's grip and rushed down to them.

"What's wrong Isabel? Where are you running to?" Nathan asked, confused.

I couldn't answer the question because my whole attention was fixed on Anna, I can't afford to lose track of them in the midst of the busy crowd.

I quickly got ahead of her and blocked her from going any further. "Where are you taking him to?" I growled with

Anna raised her brows in shock. I guess she was not expecting me to suddenly show up and ruin her plans.

"I..I.." She tried to say but words failed her.

"Thank goodness you are here Luna. I tried telling her that I don't want to leave without you but she wouldn't listen. She said you have left me for good" Mark said drunkenly and hugged me.

"Jeez! You reek of alcohol, Dave" I exclaimed as I broke off from the hug.

" No. I am not" He chuckled.

"Anna what did you do to him?" I fired at her.

"What do you mean by that? Can't you see that he got himself drunk?" She snapped.

" Really? Then where were you taking him to?"

" I was taking him home"

"Home?" I repeated in disbelief. " Why would you take him home while I am here?"

"I thought you were having fun and I didn't want to disturb you" She shrugged.

"Really? But why do I have this feeling that you purposely got Mark drunk so that you could take advantage of him?" I said with furrowed brows.

" What? Why would I do that?"

" Who knows why sluts do what they do" I bickered.

" Why are you guys quarrelling? I am having a headache" Mark murmured, still resting on my shoulder.

" You b***h. did you just call me a slut?" Anna bit out.

" You said it yourself" I flashed a self satisfied smile that made her more furious at me.

" What is going on here? You guys are drawing attention to yourselves" Charles interrupted.

" It's nothing honey. I met Mark drunk and I only wanted to help him get a cab but Isabel misunderstood everything" Anna quickly replied before I could say anything.

Ugh. She is such a creepy liar. I knew that there was nothing good about this lady.

"Can you stop pretending already?" I fired.

"It is okay ladies. You don't have to argue about this. I am sure it is a misunderstanding." Charles said. " I will go call a cab" He added walking out.

I shot Anna a hard stare before walking out with Mark who could barely walk on his own. Charles stopped a cab and assisted Mark into the car and I got in too.

"Thank you. Bye" I waved at him as the car zoomed off.

Poor Charles. If only he knows that his so called girlfriend is nothing but a w***e. I have to find a way to reveal her true colors to everyone.

The cab finally came to a halt before the huge mansion. I paid the cab driver. I stepped down and assisted Mark out.

"You shouldn't have gotten drunk" I scolded, assisting him towards the house.

"I am not drunk. Look at me, I am totally fine" He staggered, giggling. " And why do you look so charming tonight?"
