Luna's POV

I quickly walked out of the restroom, down the hallway and into the large, busy room.

I hurried towards our table but halted halfway. I could see Anna still seated with Mark. They were both laughing.

Jerks! Looks like they are having fun without me.

"Luna" I suddenly heard my name.

I turned to behold Charles smiling at me. He was seated with some of his friends.

"Hi" I walked towards them.

"I didn't know Mark would come with you. You guys must be really close" Charles chuckled and I sneered. " I hope you're enjoying the party?"

" Sure" I forced a smile. " Didn't you come with Anna?" I intentionally asked.

"Yes I did. I am sure she is somewhere discussing with her friends. You know, girls stuff" he grinned.

" If only you know that your girlfriend is somewhere throwing herself on another man" I muttered.

Why is everyone creepy?.

" Did you say something?"

"No..uhm..I will be going over to my table"

" Huh? Wait a minute.. I haven't introduced you to my friend here" Charles said. " Meet Nathan and Nathan meet Luna"

"Hi" I waved at the young man. He had a burnished complexion, brown eyes, black curled hair, pointed nose, pink lips,broad shoulders and a huge body.

So cute!I love handsome men. Don't blame me, I am a princess and I always go for the best.

"Hi Luna. You look so beautiful" Nathan winked.

" Thank you" I blushed.

"My pleasure, princess"

Princess? Is he a seer or something?

"How did you know that I am a princess?" I asked with widened eyes.

He chuckled." Of course you are! It is only a blind man that would see a beauty like you and not get mesmerized"

Oh. That's what he meant. He scared me there at the moment. "Thank you"

"Will you keep on standing? Please join us" Charles beckoned.

" No..I .I"

" Exactly. Join us" Nathan, added.

Maybe, I should join them. Since Mark is having fun with his new friend, I can stay here too and have fun with my new friend. I sat on one of the seats.

"So tell me about yourself"Nathan began.

I picked up one of the glass cup from the table and poured in some juice into it. "I am an Alien"

"Huh?"

"Just kidding"

We all burst out laughing.

Charles ordered for a chicken tomato mozzarella on flat bread. Nathan kept on cracking jokes as we pounced on the delicious meal and laughing in between.

Mark's POV

I sat uncomfortably on my chair as I wondered why Luna wasn't yet back. Could it be that something bad has happened to her or has she lost her way?

"Mark are you listening to me?" Anna called out, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Yes."

"What is bothering you?"

"I am worried about Luna. She has spent a lot of time in the restroom" I complained.

" Oh! Don't worry about her, she is fine"

" What do you mean by that?" I asked, confused.

" Your girlfriend is there having fun with my fiance and his friend" Anna smirked pointing towards the other end of the room.

I followed the direction of her finger to see Luna seated with two men and laughing so hard. I couldn't believe my eyes. I frowned as I wondered what they could be telling her to make her this happy.

"Mark, just let her be. We can have fun together too"

" Yes. Uhm. Can you give me some break? I want to be left alone" I said a bit curtly. I was beginning to feel sick and tired of the whole thing.

" Why? What is wrong? Did I say something wrong?" Anna said, sadly.

" No..it is not about you..it is just that.." Just then, my eyes fell back to where Luna was seated.

I noticed one of the men place his hand on Luna's shoulder.What the heck

I stood up and stomped angrily to where she sat with clenched fist.

"Mark. You?" Luna exclaimed as soon as she saw me approaching.

I pushed the jerk's hand off her shoulder and pulled her up.

"What's wrong with you Dave?" Luna whined.

" Just shut up" I fired.

"Hey man! You can't just show up and drag her away" The annoying guy interrupted.

" And who the hell are you?"

"I'm Nathan. Charles' friend"

And just then, I noticed that the other guy was Charles. " Oh I see! How could you do this to me Charles? Is this the way best friends behave" I snarled.

" Easy man. Why are you overreacting? Luna is a grown up lady and she has the right to choose whomever she wants to have fun with " Charles shrugged.

" Just shut the f**k up. Isabel is my responsibility and I won't let any of you take advantage of her." I growled. "And you Luna, come with me"

I dragged her out by the arm but she forced herself free from my grip. "What the hell do you think you are doing? Have you lost your mind?" Luna yelled in exasperation.

" Yes. I have lost my mind trying to speak some senses into your daft head" I said through gritted teeth. " Can't you see that, that Nathan is trying to take advantage of you?"

She scoffed. " It is none of your business. I am not complaining"

" Seriously?"

"Yes.. Go and continue having fun with your new friend, I am cool over here"

" Fine.. suit yourself" I fired and turned to leave but halt. Luna was no longer putting on her jacket and I didn't want any of those perverts run their eyes around her bare body.

But let out a sigh and returned back to her."What do you want again?" She spat.

I pulled off my jacket and covered her before walking back to my seat. I'm only doing this to pay back a favor and nothing more.

"What happened? Did you guys have an argument?" Anna asked as I joined her again.

" I don't want to talk about it" I snapped.

" Fine." She threw her hands up in the air.

I gulped down the bottle of Hennessy on the table."I want more. Call the waiter"

"Sounds like fun" Anna giggled and beckoned on the waiter. He arrived with four bottles of wine. I poured some into the glass cup and gulped it all down while she kept on blabbing about some stuffs which I didn't even bother to pay attention to.
