She is not my type

Mark's POV "Martin?" Anna exclaimed as soon as we both stepped into the room. "You are here?" Martin asked, surprised too. Was he not aware that his girlfriend was coming to my house? And why would she go to a man's house without letting her fiance know about it?. Could it be that what Luna has been blabbing about her is true?. I quickly shook off the scary thoughts. Thinking about it scares me to death. "I..I.. sent a message to you to inform you that I was going to Mark's house to inform him about the party" Anna stuttered. " Message? No..I never received such a message from you" "Maybe it failed to get to you.. I was sure I pressed the sent button" " Maybe it is from the network." Martin shrugged. " Exactly.. the stupid network" She chuckled, nervously. At that point, Luna interrupted, trying to lighten up the tense environment. " Did I just hear party? What is it about?" "Oh It is our engagement party. It will take place in the next three days by 4pm at my house and you guys are invited" Martin replied sitting on the couch where Anna was while I joined Luna on the bed since I just have only one couch in the room. Finally! Martin will be getting married to the lady who has finally stolen his heart. After his first girlfriend cheated on him, Martin had lost faith in love. He believed that love was not meant for him. But everything changed when he came across Anna. For the first time after many years, his dead heart began beating again. At first, he was scared that she might turn him down but after much persuasion from me; he approached her and to our surprise, she agreed too. And their little friendship had finally blossomed into marriage. I am so happy for my friend and I hope they live happily ever after. "Your engagement? You mean you guys are getting married?.. I am so happy for the both of you" Luna whined. What a drama queen! " Thank you.. Although it wouldn't be bad if you and Mark do the same" " Huh?" She exclaimed and turned to me with a furrowed brows. "No..no.. not even in my wildest dream. I would rather stay single than exchange marriage vows with your friend" What? Who the hell does she think she is? She isn't even cute neither is she my type. "Exactly! I would rather be a monk than have someone like you as my wife" I sneered. " Whatever" " You guys are silly" Martin burst out laughing. "So Martin what are you doing here?.. I mean.. you were supposed to be at work right? " Anna asked. " Yes.. but I received a message from Mark saying that he is holding an event and has ran short of popcorn. I wouldn't want my buddie's event to be ruined so I rushed down here with these" Martin explained, dropping the big cup of popcorn on the middle table. " Event? Me? I never sent such a message" I exclaimed, confused. He burst out laughing. " This must be one of your pranks right?. You got me there " "I didn't send the message" I insisted. But it sounded false even to my own ears. If i didn't send the message, then who did it?. And it struck me - Luna! She is the only one who can be this mischievous. I turned to her with a furrowed brows. "What?" She asked. "The message? You sent it right?" "Uhm..yes..I did" she smiled mischievously. " I knew it..why did you do that?" I fired. " I..I.. noticed that you guys hardly spend time together so I had to come up with a plan to unite you. How was my plan?" " Foolish" I sneered. Luna's POV Just as expected! The jerk would rather die than to accept the fact that I am better than him in making and cooking up good plans. But who cares? What matters is that Martin and his wife to be are together now, giving me the golden opportunity to finally accomplish my mission. But Mark?..I have to get rid of him. "So Martin, where is my popcorn?" I asked excitedly. " I give up on you" Martin shook his head, passing the little bag to me. " So guys let's watch this horror movie and have some fun" I giggled and picked up the television's remote from the table and pressed the play button. "My favorite!" Martin and Anna exclaimed. One of the best thing Mark has ever done was to have a television in his room. I brought out the glass plate which I had earlier sneaked into the room from downstairs and poured some popcorns in them and kept it close to the couple who is now totally focused on the movie. I got to know that Martin is a fan of horror movies from Mark but I never knew Anna also loves it. Anyways, this is good. I turned to Mark who was also seated on the couch and munching on the popcorn with his eyes glued on the television. I moved closer to him. "You never told me that you also love horror movies?" "I wasn't really a fan of horror movies but Martin turned me into this. During our holidays in college days, he would always drag me to the cinema to watch horror movies with him.. At first, it was boring and scary but now I can't seem to say No to watching it" He chuckled, in between a filled mouth. Before he continued his story, I struck him on his conscious vein and he blacked out immediately. "I am sorry Mark but this is the only way I could think of" I muttered and laid his head properly on the couch. I glanced at the couple and to my relief, they were still focused on the television and didn't notice what just happened. I quietly sauntered over to their backs and struck them too on their conscious vein which is located at the back of the neck and they passed out instantly. I heaved a sigh of relief and quickly rushed to lock the door.
