Cassian jumped forward without actually thinking about it to grab hold of Theodore’s wrist before he let himself fall back using his entire weight. He figured moving was better than nothing because this way there was a chance of a different outcome. He was right because directly after his back slammed into the concrete he felt Theodore land on his chest causing him to grunt as the air was knocked from his lungs but it was more terrifying that Theodore had not seemed to get a fright when he felt himself fall from the ledge, only making a sound once they had landed on the roof. He had never been more scared in his entire life than he had been in the past few seconds.
