Theodore leaned his hands onto the counter to tap his fingers against it lightly. He peered outside through the windows into the dark as a car drove into the parking lot before glancing at the time on the lower corner of the PC beside him. It was pretty late and just before 10 PM, his shift was almost over which was an incredible relief.
He had not brought Zion into work because his boss had found out that he had been sneaking his brother in. He hated having to leave Zion alone with their parents especially after the burn and the fire, but had no choice so there he was eager to get home.
