Endless quagmires

**Gordon's POV*

My obnoxious Beta had ruined my perfect chance to finally make Seraphina mine. She is just too beautiful to resist. Her bright Hair matched her perfect blue eyes and it always made me go crazy.

Samantha, My Mate and Luna had arrived back at the back the previous day. She was instantly told about the new pack member who had been living with my pack for years.

She immediately developed Hatred for Seraphina. Endless torments and bullying followed but Sera withstood everything.

Weeks later, My s****l urge got the better of me again and I invited Seraphina to my room. She walked in to meet me in my bed, half naked.

Seraphina bowed her head slightly. “The Head maid instructed me to clean your room. I'll come back since you're resting for now.” She said and turned to leave.

“Wait. You don't have to come back. Come take a seat.” I said. Reluctantly, Seraphina walked to my bed and sat on the edge.

I cleared my throat. “You have been living with my pack for some years now and I am also still doing my best to find your father. Do you not think I'll be happy if everything I've done is appreciated?”

Seraphina turned to me. “Yes, I think you're absolutely right my lord. It's time I show you how grateful I really am for Everything you've done for me.”

My eyes widened in shock as I wasn't expecting Seraphina to agree with me eagerly.

She stood up and walked to my table seductively. Her hands were on her clothes and it seemed she was going to pull them off at any moment.

Suddenly, Seraphina grabbed my dagger and unsheathed it from the scabbard. She stabbed me with the dagger and ran out of the room as fast as she could.

I fell to the ground, Bleeding and groaning in pain. Attempting to pull the dagger from my stomach only resulted in more pain as the dagger was made of Silver.

After making several attempts, I finally pulled the Dagger from my stomach and the bleeding slowly stopped. The door opened and Samantha walked in.

She gasped in shock to see my blood everywhere in the room. “What in the world happened to you!” Samantha exclaimed.

“I...I was attacked by Seraphina.” I said, panting heavily.

Samantha rolled her eyes in anger. Her teeth gritted and she angrily yelled for the maids. Some maids came in Almost immediately.

“Find Seraphina immediately and bring her here!” She yelled. The maids all scampered off to find Seraphina. Samantha walked to me and helped me up. The opening caused by the Dagger had already healed but the pain was still fluctuating.

“That wench. I always knew she's a witch with her pretty face and strange hair! What did you do to her this time?” Samantha asked.

I stared away trying to avoid the question. It was certain Samantha had heard about my lustful approaches to Seraphina.

A maid suddenly walked in again. “My lady, Seraphina has left the Pack. No one saw her leave.” She said,

“Find this wench. Bring her back dead or alive!” Samantha yelled.

*Seraphina's POV*

I took off as fast as I could. It was until I was very far away from the pack before I stopped running. Everyone around me seemed to be intrigued by something.

The stares were so much that I was losing touch with reality. I suddenly felt a hand grab me and pulled me away from the streets. The person had a hoodie on so I couldn't tell who it was yet.

We reached a corner and stopped. “Astrid!” I said and hugged him.

“Every single Bounty hunter in Green Hales is searching for you. The reward for whoever brings you back dead or alive, is jaw dropping!” Astrid stated.

It finally dawned on me that I was in a quagmire. “So, are you here to take me in?”.

“what? No! I need to send you somewhere you'd be safe. You absolutely will not survive out here for another day.” Astrid said.

I heaved a sigh of relief. Astrid handed a piece of paper to me. “Go to the palace and tell them you need to see Monica. She'll take you in and You'll live with her from now on. Do not ever show your face to Alpha Gordon again if you love your life.”

Astrid turned away to leave. “You are just going to leave me here?” I asked.

“I am not here alone. The guards at the pack are nearby and we were all searching for you together. I quickly snuck away from them the moment I saw you. I'll distract them while you make your way to the palace.” He said.

I nodded meekly and watched as Astrid walked away. He walked to the rest of his colleagues and whispered some words to them. The men all turned a different direction and left with Astrid. “He lured them away...” I said meekly.

After confirming the Men had left, I went back to the street and continued walking. All I have to do now is find the palace, Wherever that is.

“Hey, isn't that the White haired witch everyone's searching for?” A Voice said from behind me. I turned around to see three men staring at me hungrily.

“It sure is her. We've hit the jackpot today. Young lady, why don't you come with us Eh?” The man asked. I slowly stepped back from them but they approached me too…

Suddenly, I turned away and started running off as fast as I could. The men yelled at me to stop and chased me. I ignored their yells and continued running.

They were slowly catching up with me now. My dress couldn't let me run as fast as I had hoped. A horse suddenly emerged in front of me and neighed.

We all came to an abrupt stop and stared at The rider In confusion. It was a young man that looked about my age. Surprisingly, his hair had a white, shining color too.
