Birthday party

"Are you sure about this princess?" asked me, Dean. "For hundreds of times, yes, I am totally sure of it," I said, staring straight at his eyes. "As you wish," he said with a sigh of defeat, and took the scissors and started to cut my hair. "I don't want to ruin your beautiful hair, so I will tie it first and then cut it. If you don't like it, you can give it to me to keep," he says with determination. I don't want him to get mad at me. " Do whatever you want," I said, averting my eyes. He started to cut my hair, and I felt a weight being taken from me. It was a weird feeling though. But I need to do it. I need to change. One might say that this does not change anything and that it is stupid. But I want to match the change in me with the change in my appearance. "One meter ten centimeters of your thick strands. So beautiful, If someone knew I was the one who cut your hair, I think I was going to become bald," he said with a ghost white face clutching my hair in his hands. I chuckled, "who is going to hurt my dear brother? Tell me, I will destroy them." "You don't have any idea. Okay, we don't have all day. Let's trim your hair into shape and style." he said with enthusiasm. After one hour of poking and tugging, he finally let me look at myself in the mirror. "wow" Wow, I stared at the mirror. My shoulder-length hair looks beautiful with big curls framing my face. My makeup is a bit lighter but Dean defined my eyes with a little glitter and liner. Not much for make-up but enough to shine. My lips are also light pink but look stunning. "Do you like it, princess?" he says, fidgeting behind me. "Do I like it? I absolutely love it!" I screamed excitedly, jumping up and down. This is a much-awaited distraction for me. "Hey hey, calm down you are going to ruin my work," he says, steadying me. My head feels light on the move, and I love how I look. Not too much makeup, but everything looks so beautiful. "Now you need to wear your party clothes," Dean says, boxing a big present from under my bed. "How did that get here? I did not see it a little while ago." I said, eying the box. "I prepared it while you were bathing," he says. "It's a birthday present for you." In my previous life, I would have gone to a*****e for my party dress with Stace. As I open the box and take the dress, my breath hitches. It's a beautiful navy blue dress elegantly flowing down the floor, short in the front, glittering diamonds adorning the heart-shaped cut of the front, baring my shoulder and back, and a pair of perfect heels. Not too high, just enough for the last touch. After dressing, I call for Dean and he stares at me dumbfounded. "What? Doesn't it suit me?" I asked. "Just more than what I imagined," he says with brotherly love. "So, am I the only one who is going to the party? Where is your outfit?" "Oh, I forgot to change. We still have thirty minutes to start the party. So, if you quietly stay here, in your room, I will change at the speed of light." he says, rushing to the door. I was deep in my thoughts when someone knocked on my door. I let them in and saw my mother standing at the door. "I just wanted to look at my baby, you are so beautiful," she says, hugging me. I muttered thanks, embarrassed. " But I still think you need something. Here, come" she said, beckoning me to my dresser. "I was given this when I reached sixteen. It passed through the line of our ancestors," she says, putting on a beautiful diamond necklace. "I also prepared a bracelet and a little tiara for you to match it," she says, putting a beautiful set in my hair and hand, and I look more vibrant than before. "Thank you mom, I love you," I said, hugging her tightly. I missed her warmth so much. I try not to cry, barely holding my tears back. How much does it take to hold the tears? I never knew. I wanted to "Now, now, do not ruin all the efforts that Dean has put in. It's already time. Let's go," she says. After several deep breaths, I finally calmed myself. We slowly exited the room and started to move to the ballroom. As we entered, everyone stopped and bowed. Upon ascending the stairs, I could not help but admire the big party thrown for me. Everything was gorgeous. people smiling, and young ladies trying to take the attention of the males. Pieceful banquet. Going and treating everyone my friend slowly gathered around me.
