Alpha Thane's POV.
What a day!
After spending time with my people, I head home to the Castle. My carriage enters the Courtyard and through its small window, I see Jake... I smile eager to share with him my experience in the city.
But to my surprise, Jake sees my carriage and instead heads to the mansion. It's a surprise because usually, Jake will come to me and start flooding me with questions. And always, he brought with him his sense of humor.
...What's with his strange behavior this afternoon?
As soon as the carriage halted, I jumped down and headed also for the mansion. I could sense it, there was something Jake was hiding!
I'm almost at the mansion when Jake re-emerges from the building.
We meet and he goes chuckling. “Hey, brother! You're back.”
“What's going on, Jake?” I ask
