Desperation became of me as I paced the hallway when suddenly the door flung open and Thane emerged from the room. A peep inside the room and my gaze fell on Princess Larissa standing before the dressing table.
Relief flooded through me at seeing Zia has not been caught.
And then I brought back my gaze to my brother.
Glancing at me, Thane shut the door after him, and then he continued down the hallway. I followed him.
His steps are long as he headed down the stairs and entered the foyer. “What's going on?” I asked.
“I just remembered, I forgot something in the city.” He said and glanced at me.
We entered the courtyard.
