Currently: 1 month in Laa-Laa-Land

One month. One month since I left that horrible prison for kids,disguised as a foster home. 1 month I've been in Laa-Laa-Land.

Laa-Laa-Land is a nickname they call Los Angeles. I don't exactly know why they call it that,because I haven't seen anyone be anymore crazy than any other places. Every city,state,and country has their own level of crazy to go around,but I use the name anyway,because I like it.

When I first arrived here,it was the scariest thing I could of ever imagined. I had never been anywhere on my own,and was so lost on what my next move was.

Trying my best not to spend my money recklessly,I decided to stay in homeless shelters,and an occasional park bench,when the shelters were full.

I ended up staying at a little shelter called,A Hand That Helps. The owner always made sure I was fed and comfortable. I guess she took pity on me being so young. Despite my age,she never tried to pry or include the authorities in my situation,and I was forever grateful for that. But after street living and homeless shelters always being filled to the brim with complete strangers,I was truly overwhelmed. I finally decided to find me a motel room.

With me not being of legal age,I knew getting a room was gonna be damn near impossible,but I had to try. I decided to walk around until I found the jankiest motel I could find.I saw that in movies that those kind of establishments just wanted cash,to hell with everything else. That's exactly what I was looking for.

After what seemed like forever,I finally came across a promising location. Here I stood in front of a gray building called,The Lone Wolf Motel.This place just has to be my lucky spot,because all the shelters I used were closed by now,and I was extremely tired and hungry.

If this place turned me down,then it was a cheap meal and a cold hard bench waiting for me tonight.

I relaxed my mind,while thinking of only positive thoughts. I adjusted my bag on my shoulder,and forced myself to walk into what could possibly be my new home.
