chapter 1: Where's my fated mate?

I have always believed myself to be a good guy,a great leader,and a damn good alpha.I as an alpha believes that an alpha is truly nothing without his pack and his Luna. The pack I had,and damn they are a great pack. my pack members are very hard working and loyal people,to which I am truly grateful for,especially in knowing that I don't lead them like my father did.My father was a ruthless ruler that didn't give a damn about anything but power,that's how we got our ruthless reputation.After his reign was over,I vowed to never rule over my people in a ruthless way,but I wasn't gonna let the world know otherwise. That reputation helps in keeping down attacks,so it's a win win for us either way. My parents Alpha keegan and Luna Vivien to go travel the world together and just enjoy their retirement after I took over,even though my mom is still Luna because I had no mate for her to hand the title to.My dad could be a complete pain in the ass, but I could never deny the love that he had for my mom. My father would do anything to see my mom happy,and even more to keep her that way. That has been the reason that I've been wondering why the hell I haven't found my fated mate yet. In our world we shift at 16,and are also able to scent our mates right after that,but 10 years have gone by and still nothing.I have traveled to other packs on business,but still nothing.
Now don't get me wrong,I have had my fair share of ass in my years of waitingfor her,and every though I felt bad about it every time,"A MAN HAS NEEDS!" But that's just it though,s*x with those women was just a means of release for me,they never peaked my interest or made me care one bit. Most of those women just wanted to brag to their friends that they were f****d by the alpha,or to get their claws on the Luna title,but that wasn't going to happen. Mind blowing s*x and a great conversation starter with their friends is all I could offer. The Luna title solely belonged to my fated mate,but where was she? s**t! I even stopped having s*x 6 months ago,so I could save myself and just focus on waiting for her. Moon goddes it would of all been so simple if my mate was right here in my pack,hell I'd be fully mated with a pup or two by now. But per usual,being an alpha was anything but simple.
