Selene’s POV

"Not to sound like a creep but your way prettier then when Levi described you." She spoke spooning another scoop of ice cream into her mouth.

First off He described me as pretty, the first time we met I was just stabbed and dragged through the forest and after that brutally and I mean BRUTALLY beaten. Secondly this girl is calling me pretty she had a face that looks as if it made completely from Italian marble and her sun kissed skin is the perfect shade for this time of year her hair beautiful brown locks flowing down her back and she wore a fashion that's put the Kardashians to shame elegantly.

"Well thank you." I said instead of all the random thoughts running through my mind.

"Well where else would you like to go?" She stood up throwing her ice cream in the trash and me doing the same.

"There's more?" I questions shocked this land doesn't look that big on the outside but once you step in it's like they own half of the woods, well way more then a half. I've already seen every shop there is to offer to the world every diner every bakery every office every mall etc. and she's telling me there's more I'm already panting just thinking about it.

"Well there one more thing left that puts all this to sha-" she was cut off focusing on something.

"And Levi will meet us there." She smiled showing all her perfectly white polished teeth.

"Great." I smiled my stomach turning at the mention of his name.

"How do you and Levi do this, either I'm really out of shape or you guys are like mutant hybrids or something...." I spoke grabbing on to a rail that had appeared.

A deep throaty laugh mixed with a light giggle was heard from behind me and I turned to see Levi and Clara almost toppling over with laughter.

What was even more scary was they were almost the exact same person just different in height and hair everything else the same the lines they got in there forehead, how they trough their head back as if they were howling, how they both got crinkles in the corner of there eyes exactly the same.

"She's funny." His sister stopped laughing and walked over to my side.

I turned around to the biggest garden of flowers.

I've ever seen colors swirled in with others and the grass so amazingly green that it kinda made your eyes water.

My wolf spoke "oh I'd love to run through that" I heard the depression in her voice after she finished her sentence.

"I'm sorry" was all I could return.

"It's beautiful isn't it." Clara smiled even wider at the look of my face.

"This is just…woah" my mind swirling with different words of how breathtaking it was but nothing came out.

"Well I'll let you guys have some alone time." Clara smiled and my nervousness got even worst suddenly I was worried about how I looked I could feel the sweat matting my hair and sticking to my face. As if he felt my nervousness which he most likely did a hand came to the nape of my neck and started playing with my hair my head feel back and my eyes closed as it lulled me to relax then as if it was a trance I stepped away from his touch towards the flowers.

"What are these?" I questioned while ever so slightly rubbing the inside of the petal the colors so vibrantly yellow and orange making me never wanna look away.

"Marigolds" He answered nonchalantly.

"And these?" I ran to a different flower on the other side of the garden it was bright purple with a yellow inside almost inviting you to touch it.

"Violets." He seemed amused now he walked over to where I was standing and I tried to walk away but before o could his hand wrapped around my waist pulling my back towards his front.

"Stop running away from me little one." He spoke softly into my ears.

"I'm not running away it's just soo nice." I admitted truthfully.

"I guess it is." He spoke loosening his grip but still pinning me to him not that I wanted to leave.

"You guess? this is the most color I've seen in my life in a long time." I could feel his eyes on the side of my face but i was too caught up in the flowed to even care.

"Your pack has a beautiful garden?" He questioned and my eyes fell to my feet.

"I've n-never been." I mentally cursed myself for stuttering what is wrong with you Selene your not one of these girls.

"What- Why not?" His curiousness growing wider.

"My m-o-m planted all those flowers and did the gardening, that place is not happy for me it's a reminder of how beautiful her soul was and how ugly she died" I spoke turning away from the flowers ready to go back to town.

"Selene" Levi spoke my name still like he was afraid to mess it up.

"I'm fine, can we just go now?" I asked as politely I can during the circumstances that made me want to go kill something.

"Yes we can." Levi spoke waking beside me back to town in a comfortable silence.

"Alpha Levi I've just heard something and I don't know if it's true but if it is it's happening at the branding ceremony." A guy with ash blonde hair came running up to Levi as soon as we got to town all the glory of the day was gone and I was reminded that that's who he is ALPHA LEVI

"Take Selene home then come straight to my office." He was striding away after his words were spoken and I could feel my breath start to pick up I ran after him considering how far he got in a matter of seconds.

"I'm not going with them." I demanded but he looked almost bored at my demand.

"It's not about what you want Selene I have to take care of business." He replied waking toward a huge greyish blinding, his office.

"Yes it is about what I want and I don't want to go with a complete stranger when half you pack hates me." I shouted causing people to turn blue at who I was speaking to.

"Stop being a little brat and go, it's for your own dam safety." He shouted so loud that it almost made tears appear in the corners of my eyes and that was a reminder on how he can be nice when we're alone but around other people I'm never gonna be the equal.

"Actually alpha it would be safer for her to be with you at the moment." The guard that had trying to speak the whole time finally got out what he wanted to say.

"No. Take me home" I spoke respectfully and graciously to the guard I'm an alpha female I have to act like one.

"Alpha female it's really not safe for you." He spoke speaking the words as if he could care less if I vanished off the face of the earth him just speaking alpha female to me made a vein prominent in his neck.

"I can handle myself." I spoke more to Levi then the guard and with that strolled off the opposite way.

"I'll me home in 10" Levi whispered to the guard.

"make sure she doesn't get herself killed please." And with that he turned and went into his office a slight piece of me wanted him to stop me come, after me, take me with him and protect me but that was all just a fantasy.

"You will never actually be my alpha female." The guard spoke to me like acid was being poured down his throat.

"Fine with me, do me a favor and slit my throat right here." I smiled welcoming any fight he had.

"No cause then the alpha will kill me and I'll have to live and eternity with you in hell." This time I was the one shocked as he strolled away.
