Selene’s POV

We must have walked for what felt like hours, I really need to train again the thought of having the bow in my grip and the arrow touching my skin ever so lightly made a smile creep up on my face.

"what are you smiling about rogue" the same ash haired guard asked me.

"nothing that concerns you mutt" I spat my comeback at him like he did me.

"i don’t know what Levi sees in you, I mean yeah you have a little ass and i do mean little." he smirked not done with his insults "and you're a tad bit curvy, you have nice hair you're lacking in the boob department but you make up for it with you're eyes and strong feminine features." he finished off walking around me in circles.

"mhm couldn't tell whether your insulting me or hitting on me, disgusting." i made a face gathering spit and shooting it his way.

"very alpha female like, no wonder Levi rejected you the first time he met you, you know he only wants you back mainly because everything he owns reeks of you and he couldn't get work done, Levi doesn't want you baby face, his natural pure instinct does remember that." with that rotting in my brain I blinked backed the tears pushing forward, was it just his natural instinct?

We walked for a few more moments before i started to feel sketchy, there were no more roads, no more shops or kids, gardens or laughs it was completely still quiet the kind of place id love to be if it weren't the circumstances i was in, what circumstances you ask. The one were i'm on a packs land who's loved ones probably hate me because i killed at least 20-25 guards on my first day here, they had to belong to some families and the part were the guy i'm walking with right now is keeping me alive only for the soul purpose of Levi would kill him.

"here it is." the guard stopped short and i raised my head from the ground to come face t face with this little woodsy cabin, it was two story's high had a balcony and a wrap around porch there were stairs leading to the bright green door of the house. it had arched glass windows and that's all i could tell from the outside.

"whats this place?" I questioned

"one of alpha Levi’s many hide away's, enjoy." was all he said before he turned around ran and leaped into the air in seconds his clothes were gone and a bright white wolf took for and ran off in the direction we came. WHITE? i have never seen a white wolf.

After standing in awe for a couple more seconds i decided it'd probably walk into the house now, as soon as i walked into the house Levi’s scent hit me full-fledged my knees became so weak i had to grip the coat hanger to keep me from tumbling into the ground.

"our mate smells amazing" my wolf voice rang in my head.

"debatable, there's a limit and i cant handle this." I walked over to the window opening it along with every other window in the house might as well browse around. The first place i ventured was the living room he was so modern with his brown, beige and white decor and hard wood floors. The next place was the kitchen my instinct to check the fridge to strong to resist i opened it and immediately regret it a piercing scream left my mouth as i fell back into the counter my eyes shutting and a wave of darkness consuming me whole.

"Selene, amica mea..." I heard Levi’s panicked voice pulling me to wake up and i tried but i was too weak every time i tried to wake up my head throbbed blurring my vision lulling me back to sleep and i listened.

"Selene, Selene wake up" a different voice rand through my head but this time my eyes pealed open i heard muffled sobs and next thing i knew i was being pulled into a suffocating hug one that i think iknew.

"grandpa?" i questioned my eyes still to heavy to raise even with my efforts but i think i was wrong as soon as those words left my mouth the person hugging me stiffened and slowly loosened his grip.

"Selene open your eyes. "I didn't have to open them i knew who it was his voice stern and congested was it him who was sobbing.

"i cant, i'm to tired." i said trying to lie back down one thing i know is to not fight with your body if my eyes didn't want to open i was still tired and i agreed.

"you have been sleep for a whole day Selene just try harder." a gasp left my mouth.

"a whole day?" i questioned willing my eyes open as hard as i could.

"yes, maybe this will help." i felt something damp and warm touch my hand.

"a towel?" i questioned gripping it

"rub it on our eyes" he demanded

"rub it on our eyes" he demanded guessing i took to long because the towel was out of my hand now and rubbing around my eyes that caught me of guard so i jumped a little gripping around his torso making sure it was still Levi i felt his chest vibrate.

"don't laugh at me." i said playfully

"there, now try." he spoke softly to me and with one raise of the eyebrows my eyes shot open everything looking to bright and hurting my eyes, a single tear dropped from my cheek but Levi was quick to wipe it away.

"sorry about the brightness, someone opened all the windows." he said going to shut the blinds

"guilty." i said raising my hand, he was standing in front of me again his strong hand around my jaws, the other in my hair he pulled my face to his looking into my eyes intensely.
