No one ever spoke about it.
The way Icarus laughed when he tumbled out of the air, dropping towards the ocean like a golden bullet.
They didn't write about the way he closed his eyes and spread his arms as the wax scorched him. The absolute acceptance of his demise. They didn't tell us how Apollo watched with amazement at the peaceful, doomed boy.
Our story begins at the end of his myth, but instead of ending with his death. It begins with his survival. When the god of the sun,the reason his wings failed in the first place decides to mess with time. And send Icarus to the 21st century where he washes up on the beach, very much alive and confused.
His path crosses with Delilah Green , a troubled girl who has just finished her senior year of highschool
At first Delilah does not believe that he is from the Ancient greek legend but after his obvious estrangement with the technology of the 21st century and his third attempt to converse with the television, she begins to slowly believe that he does not belong in her timeline. The god of time believes this too, and is hot on their trail, determined to take Icarus back to face the ending of his story.
