Chapter thirty five

Michelle's Point Of View

 I stood in front of my new fellow pack officers, I felt proud yet a little shaky, Lewis sent me encouragement through our link, it is not everyday you are asked to real pack secrets but after hearing everything that my mate, Beta Lewis had just revealed about the four packs that is the Red moon Pack, Vernom Claw Pack, the Assassin Pack and the Alpha Pack,  united as one under the same leader, I felt the information in my custody was not so big after all, everyone waited eagerly for me to start so that is what I did " the Moonlight Pack may not be as wealthy as it's sister packs but we can also hold our own. Financially,we are sound and in terms of budget we have been within our working budget for the past ten years. Our net value is approximately ninety million us dollars, the pack house is worth twenty million dollars, our vehicles and other assets are worth another twenty million dollars and we have shares in companies,bonds, stocks and other investment modules totally worth fifty million dollars and before I forget Alpha Slyverken sorry Queen Slyverken's net worth personally is approximately fifty million dollars,there are investment modules all over the world in your name,so basically you both are walking millionaires and do not have to work for a day in your lives, the pack basically is self sustaining. That is how I chose to end my debrief. Any questions?" I guess considering the news of the assets and net worth of our packs everyone was so dumbfounded that they could not come up with questions, I thanked them for listening and resumed my seat, the room lapsed into silence.

Brian's point of view

Well finding out that you are literally worth billions overnight is very disconcerting to say the least but it was important to know and that we all knew it was time to take things to a new level " Okay, I thank you all for being here this morning and also our Beta Lewis and his mate, Beta female Michelle for bringing us up to date, with the financial situation of our pack, it seems financially we are sound and would be for a long time to come before we proceed to the main issue at hand, we have one more report to listen to, Gamma Daemon and Delta Greg are you both ready to give your reports on what we should do with the rogues in our custody, I mean the  survivors of the war? "  " Yes, Alpha King Brian." Both stood up ready to address us

Daemon's point of view

Greg and I stood up, deliberated a little and decided I should start. " Mmm, Alpha King Brian, Luna Slyverken as you are already aware, the rogues we rounded up turned out to be a lot younger than we expected and after seeking your permission, we started working on conditioning them. After questioning them, we found out most were newly turned and do not know anything about themselves except for the fact that they had to fight to survive, after careful consideration we decided to explain to them what awaits them and surprisingly after living as a pack for a while they decided it was better to belong to the right pack and fight for the right reasons and not for some Alpha's greed, the conditioning was a success, they are patiently waiting for you, Alpha King Brian to decide if you would accept them or not and if I may add, five of the females turned out to be mates for some of our warriors. That is all we have to report Alpha King Brian." "So tell me what is your recommendation in this matter Gamma Daemon?" " Alpha King Brian, I recommend accepting them thus setting a new order and example for all others to see" "Delta Greg, do you concur with Gamma Daemon's recommendation?" "Yes, Alpha King Brian I concur and agree with him a hundred percent" " Good, now let us put it to vote, I may be Alpha King but I am not a dictator, I believe in democracy. So, all those in favor of us welcoming them into our rank and file kindly show by hands" And to my surprise, everyone raised their hands. " It is settled then, I will accept them, you all are responsible for their training. Is this agreed?"  " Yes, Alpha King Brian" we all chorused

Brian's point of view

Well things are going better than I expected but I am still a little shaken by the money attached to my name and that of my packs but what is done is done, now I have to concentrate on developing the packs and doing so quickly. " Alright then, that has been taken care, shall then move forward, first of, Luna Slyverken,we need to decide if the Moonlight Pack and the Red moon Pack and the Vernom Claw Pack should be joined and if so, we need to decide how it should be done" " But Alpha King Brian, I do not think there is anything wrong in joining all the packs as one. I think that is the right thing to do ." " I agree with you, my queen but Alpha King Brian has a point, a lot of peoples livelihood would be affected, even though we are financially sound it would not be prudent to just go around showering money all over the place, that would draw unwanted attention to us" " Beta female Michelle,is right my queen, what I propose is this, we ask the people of the pack, those who want to move to New York City with us will show it, those who would not come with us would still be our pack members and would be under the command of a Beta of our choosing,who would run the packs day to day activities and report to us directly and we would visit here every weekend to check on the progress of the pack ourselves or what do you think?" " I think Alpha King Brian's point is valid, considering most people have lived here all their lives, asking them to abandon it and start fresh from scratch in another city is a little tasking if you ask me plus should the entire pack decide to move to New York, we still have to decide what to do with the property and assets of the pack" " that is a very valid point, Beta Lewis plus setting them up in a new city is not only tasking, they would meet tough competition from the locals and that can be a big problem if not handled well" " yeah and to add to that Alpha King Brian, there two packs in New York City,we would be the third and if we do not thread carefully we might just insight a war without meaning to" " Okay, Gamma Daemon, I get the point, I will have to put this before the pack and let them make their own decisions and the second thing,who replaces Beta Michelle here as Beta of the Moonlight Pack , since she would not be able to combine both duties as Beta of the Moonlight Pack and Beta female of the Red moon Pack, the Vernom Claw Pack and the Alpha Pack, that is too much work for any one person to handle" " Actually, my queen I was thinking of Gamma James, since joining the pack three years ago he has proven himself good and capable of handling authority and duty plus he was trained by Alpha King Brian himself and he has been an outstanding worker and leader in the past three years, he has also earned the respect and love of everyone in the pack or what do think Michelle?" " Gracie, you just echoed my thoughts exactly" " So it is decided then, and I agree Gamma James is the best person for the job, now for his replacement as Gamma I propose Micheal his assistant. Are we in agreement?" Everyone nodded " so that has been taken care of the next thing in the agenda is our very own young Alpha Ruby. Even though we asked her to think of where she would like to settle with her pack. I know her and she is most comfortable here in Atlanta,so while we give her time to think I am of the view we hand over the Red moon Pack to her in the meantime, after all she is family and it is my responsibility to take care of her in her present situation, this way she is safe and we can keep an eye on her and also I propose elevating sub Commander Lee to Gamma status, to keep an eye on things and help Alpha Ruby out in any way he can" " my, my Alpha King Brian, wow how do come by these ideas, this is just great"  " Delta Greg, please do not congratulate me yet,my ideas are yet to be validated and put in to action,so what do you guys think??" " I, Lewis for I think it is a great idea" " well,I Daemon agree with you, Alpha King Brian" " thanks" " i Delta Greg agree with you Alpha King Brian, this way we kill two birds with one stone. I like it" " okay, that is settled. Now I doubt if our shopping plan can come on but this meeting is adjourned until further notice but wait beta Lewis,do you have anything to report on the state of the Vernom Claw Pack?" " Alpha King Brian, I do have an update. And this information would be a great bundle of joy to you Alpha, our sector commanders report that over two thousand rogues are currently being accommodated right now their wish is to accepted into the Vernom Claw Pack and there are three thousand transfer requests that are pending your approval, Alpha King Brian." " Will my approval not cause problems for their mother packs?" " I do not think so Alpha King Brian,if it was so, I do not think the Alphas involved would have approved the requests and sent it over for you to approve too. Plus this number is from packs all over the world and that is good news, our numbers increase without us even trying." " Yes, but all the same we need to thread carefully and cautiously" " Also, Alpha King Brian, Alphas from all over the world are sending you congratulatory words and want to meet you face to face and pledge their loyalty and that of their packs to you,so we have to get back as soon as possible." "Sure no problem at all. We just have to speed things up here then and that should not take long at all and preparations for the Luna ceremony?" " Alpha King Brian, you do not have to worry, everything is being handled by we the females of this pack and Luna Tina, things would go on smoothly that you need not worry about." "If you say so commander female Bernie, Beta Lewis can you hand the cards over?" He handed an atm card to everyone. " This is the first copy of the atm card we intend to give out to our pack members, to aid them financially. This copies are ours and the spending limit is five million dollars a day. What do you think?" "I think it is lovely and a noble gesture, definitely praise worthy my king"  "Thanks my queen,on this note this meeting is adjourned until further notice, I think our shopping would have to come on tomorrow, for now I am famished and need to get to the kitchen quickly. Meeting is adjourned, everyone dismissed." We all left and almost as if planned we all moved to the kitchen area, where our mates took charge of preparing a hefty lunch for us, whiles we the men engaged in conversation centered around the pack.

Chapter thirty six

 Next day

Slyverken's point of view

Finally we are going shopping as planned, today's shopping is special because we would not be shopping for anything other than the clothes we would wear to, and during the Luna ceremony. This is going to be one long tiring day, yeah, shopping is no easy task. Michelle, Catherine, Bernie Gracie and I prepared a joint breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast and banana fritters, the aroma I guess is what drew the boys, Alpha King Brian, Lewis, Daemon, Greg and Jerkins to the kitchen and dining area, soon enough Alphas of the Alpha Pack started trouping in to get their share of this breakfast,then of course the warriors came in picked plates got served and went back to their respective duties,by the time  everyone was done, we were pretty much tired. Having a large pack has its perks but also has its own stress, example is cooking for the whole pack, that can truly be tasking and as luck would have it I have four other enthusiastic cooks helping me out. We finished breakfast uneventfully and changed clothing and headed to the three black sports cars waiting outside, Alpha King Brian and I, alongside Lewis and Michelle entered the first, whiles Daemon, Greg, Jerkins, Catherine, Bernie and Gracie entered the others as we drove away from the pack house into town, we stopped at the best clothing shop in town, the Walter Brothers. As we entered the excitement levels rose quickly and almost immediately, I sherpheded everyone towards the men's official clothing line, " it looks like you boys are going get us started" I winked at my fellow conspirators and we started picking suits off the rack and piling them up at their feet

Greg's point of view

If I thought things were being rushed a little earlier, the frenzy going on here is way beyond my wildest dreams. My mate Gracie was piling up clothes around me and a similar scenario was playing out around the others as well and they looked just as bewildered as I do now, quickly I mind linked Lewis, Daemon Jerkins and Alpha King Brian " guys, if we do not do something fast, our ladies here would empty this entire boutique on our account" "yeah, you are right Greg but what do we do, we all know how much ladies enjoy shopping and considering we have being jumping from one battle to another, I am guessing given this opportunity, our ladies would do everything in their power to enjoy the moment" " Yeah right, Jerkins but on who's account. Most of these clothes,I seriously doubt I would even use so why spend money unnecessarily" " Alpha Brian, you are right but if someone does not stop them soon, this boutique is going to be empty" "Alright Beta Lewis, I will think of something" I closed the link and looked right to see Alpha King Brian concentrated on Luna Slyverken. " My dear Slyverken, I think the pile we have here is already more than enough for what we need and besides, you girls would get the opportunity to continue this shopping spree when we get to New York."  "Okay, my king, but before anything you boys need to try out this clothes" everyone groaned, this is beginning to feel like a nightmare, we all looked to Alpha King Brian in the hopes that he saves us from this upcoming nightmare. " Hey boys do not go looking at me like that, you all heard what queen Slyverken said, stand up and let us get this business over with quickly, there are other things to do too, come on haul ass" we all shook our heads in defeat, stood up and headed to the changing rooms located two meters away.

Jerkins' point of view

When Alpha King Brian said we were going shopping, what I had in mind was walk into a shop, pick up a couple of suits and tuxedos and go back home but it seems our mates had other ideas. I can count not less than fifty different suits and tuxedos and as if that was not enough now, I and the others have to try on all this suits, it was irritating to be sure but when the queen of the land says you have to, there is no way nor question of disobeying. But luckily my first three suits turned out to be too tight, I sent a mind link to Alpha King Brian, Beta Lewis, Gamma Daemon, and Delta Greg "guys is it just me or are this suits a little too tight for comfort" " Jerkins I thought I was the only one having the same problem" "Yeah, I am also having the same issue here, ten of my suits turned out to be too tight, that shortens the pile in front of me." " Hey, guys mine is thirty suits short, leaving me only five more to try, s**t this is perfect, I am going out guys" "All the best Alpha King Brian, we would join you soon. Okay boys, let us sort through this pile and get a sizable portion to work with" " yeah, good idea, Commander Jerkins" I closed the link and concentrated on sorting through the pile, by the end I had five suits to work with impressive. I sent a mind link to my mate, Bernie " dearest love, we might have a little problem, the suits you picked up turned out to be a little too tight, I have successfully sorted through the pile leaving four suits to work with. I will wear them one after the other and come out, so you tell me what you think and if it looks okay, is that alright with you?" " Baby boo, I hope none is disfigured,if not we have to pay for it and I am eagerly waiting to see how you look in the suits. Be quick about it." " Funny, you should say that. The suits are in perfect condition,so no need to worry your pretty little head about it." " If my honey berry says so, then fine" " hey, what is with the nicknames?" " Why do you not like them?" " Hey, do not get offended okay. I love them actually, I am just surprised you started using nicknames and pet names all of a sudden, that is all" " I just thought now is the right time to start using them, though I can stop if you do not like them." " Baby girl, I did not say stop, let's say it is this way, I am not used to being addressed by pet names or nicknames and it would take a while to get used to it but I am more than willing to do so just for you,my one and only mate to be happy, okay??" " Yes, dearest mate but do tell me if you are ever uncomfortable with any pet name or nickname. Okay?" " Any time, love"  "Alright, quickly get out there, I am dying to see in your suit"  " On the way, love" and I came out

Bernie's point of view

Hi, I am Bernie, a member and warrior of the Moonlight Pack,now the Commander female of the Red moon Pack, Vernom Claw Pack, Moonlight Pack and the Alpha Pack, reason?? Simple,my mate is Commander Jerkins,former assassin, now Commander of Alpha King Brian's united packs and let us not forget, Queen Slyverken happens to be my one of my best friends and closest allies, now we run the packs together.

This entire shopping idea, was rediculous at first but on second thought, it was really necessary. For now, it is the turn of the males and they have been in the changing rooms for close to thirty minutes now, only God knows what is so difficult about wearing clothes not that I am complaining but the truth i am too eager to see my mate in a suit, it would be the first time so I want to make sure he looks smoking hot. Jerkins just informed me via our link that he was coming out from the changing room and I am eager to check him out, he walks out of the changing room dressed in a perfectly tailored black three piece suit complete with matching tie and Oxford shoes. If I thought he looked good in t-shirts and trousers, now he looks like he just walked out of a model newspaper, my jaw dropped visibly as I stated at him, even Luna Slyverken, Michelle, Catherine and Gracie were speechless when they saw him. He stared at me keenly trying to assess what I was thinking but when no response was forthcoming he asked " Why do you all look like a ghost just appeared out of smoke?" That is what snapped me out of my daydream " ooh my God, by the moon goddess, you look so handsome, I am literally short of words to describe how good you look" " well in that case, this suit is what I am paying for. Wait where is, Lewis, Daemon ,Greg and Alpha King Brian?" " They are yet to come out" " interesting. " And then he shouted " guys get it moving in there we are out of time" " coming" was the uniform response

Catherine's point of view

Hey, am back again.

Today's shopping was spectacular, whiles we and I mean Luna Slyverken, Michelle, Gracie ,Bernie and myself were waiting for our mates, the boys as we like to call them,to come out of the changing rooms we decided to pick our own attires too, just to save time. Luna Slyverken and the others engaged me in a conversation about the Vernom Claw Pack house. "Catherine, tell us. How does the Vernom Claw Pack house really look like, Brian is not forthcoming with details and I want to know what is in store for me. I ask because, you are already there, you moved in with the boys as I understand"

"Well Luna Slyverken, I did move in with Daemon, I did so earlier than I had initially planned because of the threat of the assassins. Alpha King Brian, wanted me there for my own safety but to tell you the truth, I was blown away by the sheer beauty of the place. When Daemon said, they just recently moved in, I thought it would be a simple house considering they were a new pack but it was a mansion,an unbelievably huge mansion complete with anything you can think of and oh, Luna Slyverken, you will love the Alpha suite, it is just breathtaking" " Alpha suite?? I have never heard of anything of that nature before." " Yes, the main pack house is divided into floors, the ground floor is the mess hall and commodation for a few pack members, mostly security for Alpha King Brian and his family and officers, we also have a conference room, office and library on another floor, the officers quarters,where I moved to is a blast, I just can not describe it but imagine the most luxurious five star hotel room,in the world but this rooms make them look cheap and simple in comparison,no wonder the buildings alone cost ninety million dollars, the place is loaded and the pent house suite is to die for" I could not help the dreamy look in my eyes, I really miss the Vernom Claw Pack house and the look on faces of Luna Slyverken, Michelle, Gracie and Bernie was one of wonder. Now I can not wait to see the look on their faces when they finally see how impressive the pack house or should I say pack mansion is in reality. But come to think of it Daemon has been in the changing room for too long even though I know nothing happened to him. You must be wondering how I know nothing bad has happened to him? Well it is simple, if he is in any kind of pain, I would feel it just as he is able to feel my joy and pain as well, that is one of the intricacies of the mate bond. I decided to send him a private mind link " hey, baby. Is everything alright? It has been a while and nothing from your end." " Yes, baby. Everything is fine,I am just having a hard time going through all the suits you picked for me. What was the need to pick so many,when all I needed was one?"  " It is always good to have multiple options. So, are you done? Will you come out now?" "Sure, love give me a few minutes okay? " " Alright" I closed the link turned around and saw Commander Jerkins already out of the changing room and in his suit and i must say he looked good in it. And just as promised Daemon,my darling mate came out looking like he just come out of magazine for top notch models, my oh my the males of this pack make models look insignificant.

Chapter thirty seven

Slyverken's point of view

Our shopping went well with the boys busy, we the ladies had a lot of time on our hands and we used it wisely to pick out our outfits. The ceremony is in two days, Luna Tina,my mom is in charge of everything, whiles Daemon, Greg and Jerkins are in charge of security, Brian has oversight roles and for now he has not been called in to action, Catherine mentioned something about an Alpha suite earlier, now my curiosity is piped. I am surely impatient waiting for the Luna ceremony to be over so we can leave for New York and I can finally get to see the amazing pack house everyone is drooling about but before that I have to check on Brian he has been in the changing room for too long, thus I sent him a private mind link " my king, I hope no one was crazy enough to launch an attack on you in there??" " haha, very funny queen of my heart, you really know how to lighten up the mood. I will be right out okay but honestly did you pick so many suits to keep me busy whiles you girls have fun?" " Hey, that is an unfair question. Nothing is fun without you okay? Now will you come out of there or do I have to break in and drag you out?"  "Hey, now that is not fair. But on a serious note, I will be right out, just need to confirm something with Greg and Lewis first. Okay?" " Okay, darling. Do not be long" I closed the link and breathed a sign of relief,now things should go according to plan and just as he promised, Brian came out of the changing room looking breathtakingly dashing in his hand sowed three pieces black suit, complete with a matching tie and Oxford shoes, simultaneously Lewis and Greg also came out looking got in their respective suits, I heard Michelle and Gracie's breath get caught upon seeing their respective mates, I on the other hand could not tear my eyes away from my mate, Alpha King Brian. This guy is the best gift I could ever ask for and by the Moon goddess, this guys would cause an accident should they ever go out together dressed as they are, already the few females also in the vicinity were smitten and some cast very flirtatious glances at Brian,my Brian. I growled loudly and many looked away sheepishly, embarrassed to be called caught right handed, I shook my head and waited patiently as Brian discussed something with Daemon and Greg and then walked towards me but before I could make a comment, Jerkins said " well it took you long enough time to get out" he studied them closely for a while before and said," looks like we all picked the same color, and design, now things are getting clearer" " Jerkins, you look good too." I glared at Jerkins for over ridding me, he bowed his head. " My love my life you look so good in that suit, that I do not have an idea on how to describe you. You are gorgeous, that is why you are attracting the attention of a lot of other females around" " eh, do I detect jealousy in your voice? Please you have nothing to worry about besides I belong to you and  only you. No one can change that fact." I chuckled at his statement, my mate is something else. " But honestly speaking you guys all look good in the suits" " thank you love, but do you not think it is time you ladies also hit the changing rooms and let us know how good you look in your chosen outfits" " sorry, to disappoint you love, but that is not going to happen. The only time you will see us wear the clothes, we chose is during the ceremony" " but that is unfair love" he pouted" we tried on the clothes, just as you wanted. kindly return the favor" " that is not happening dear" " Okay,fine if you say so" " the ceremony is in a couple days,two days to precise, so no worries" they changed back to their original clothes, we checked out, paid our bills and drove home to the Red moon Pack grounds.

 The next couple of days passed us by in a blur and  in a series of activities that kept us occupied. But finally, tonight is the full moon, the D-Day for the Luna ceremony. I am excited.
