Chapter three

Brian's Point Of View

After ten hours of sleep, I mind linked my men' boys freshen up and report to my room in twenty minutes,we have work to do.' Yes Alpha they all chorused. I switched off the mind link. I used the opportunity to freshen up and got ready for my first official meeting with my pack. I have some important decisions to make. First, I need a Beta, Gama and Delta. I know it is unconventional but this is my pack. My pack my rules. As if on cue, there was a light knock on my door, I knew it was them as that was our agreed signal. Come in I said. They entered and bowed 'Alpha'. 'Make yourselves comfortable boys,we might be here for awhile. They took their positions on the bed and I started' first things first,we need a hierarchy of authority here, who reports to who and so on. I elect Lewis as Beta, Daemon as Gamma and Greg as Delta. Any objections?? If so, I want to hear them.' They thought about it for awhile and nodded in agreement with my choices. 'Also, we need a place to stay,as in a new pack house and I want the best available. Lewis that is your job, contact real estate companies and get us a pack house, preferably somewhere woody, okay?? Daemon as Gamma, you are going to work on our admission procedure at the college. They are already aware you are coming. Greg, you are going to work on transportation, we need two cars and four racing bikes but nothing fancy, okay??' while you do that I am going to contact some of our old spies and see if I can find out anything new. Now get to work' They left quickly but not before bowing in respect.

Lewis' Point Of View

Alpha Brian, just elected me as his Beta. I must say I was surprised. He gave me new instructions also. Am to work on a new pack house as soon as possible. Immediately we left his room. I picked my phone and started dialing the estate companies I knew in the area and as luck would have it, I hit the jackpot on the first try. There was a newly constructed house in the Brooklyn area. it is secluded and can house 50 people minimum with enough land for extensions and complete with everything a pack needs, the perfect pack house for starters and to crown it. The property covers two miles and is surrounded by woods, just perfect. Alpha,is going to love it. And we can move in immediately. How cool is that??

Daemon's Point Of View

So, I just became a Gamma. I thought Greg would have been chosen but it seems Alpha noticed his lack of decision making skills. He's a good warrior and strict with discipline but he does not like to be placed on the spot light. Alpha's reasoning is sound. His instructions for me were simple, meet the school authorities and secure admissions for all of us. that is a work am looking forward to. Upon exiting Alpha's room and the hotel, I took a cab to the school campus and thought of the correct strategy to use. I arrived on time, walked to the receptionist and asked for the principal. She asked if I had an appointment. I said yes. She asked my name and I gave it to her as Gamma Daemon of the Vernom Claw pack. She confirmed and told me the principal was waiting for me in her office. I was shown the way and entered to meet a surprisingly young and beautiful woman. Once I entered,I knew she was a werewolf. You can tell by her youth and agility, not to talk of the power radiating from her. This was going to be a long hour. After questioning for an hour,she finally accepted our applications and offered us admission. I was told to look for a certain miss Catherine Volgus, to complete the registration process. At the reception I asked for miss Catherine Volgus. The receptionist informed me that her office is the second one on my left after existing the principal's office. I did and started walking in the direction pointed out to me and that is when it hit me. The most amazing and intoxicating smell of my life. I lifted my nose and smelt the air and followed the smell of apricots only to land in Catherine Volgus's office and meet the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. In front of me was a true definition of beauty. She was slender,curvy with full lips and just a head shorter than me and when she looked at me with those enchanting green eyes, I growled 'Mine' I had just found my mate.

Catherine's Point Of View

The smell of freshly baked pancakes filled my nostrils,my wolf suddenly growled in my head 'mate' . I couldn't believe it standing by my office doorway was a stunning looking guy, five feet two, all muscles and hazel eyed. One look at him and he growled, 'mine'. Just that one word and my breath caught in my throat. By the moon goddess, this guy is sexy as hell and wetness started to pool in my panties. I had to control myself or I would make a total fool of myself in front of my mate. With two quick steps, he was in front of me,his eyes searching and devouring me. I held out my hand and introduced myself. 'Hi, am Catherine' he took my hand and kissed the tips and said I am Gamma Daemon of the Vernom claw pack. Once, his lips touched my skin  it was like fire was traveling from the point all the way to my core. Wait?? My mate was a Gamma?? And that too of a pack I never heard of?? ' please have a seat' it took me a while to compose myself and i sat in my chair. 'Before, we discuss you been my mate. What can help you with?'

Daemon's Point Of View

My mates reaction was surprising. She introduced herself and asked me to take a seat, which I did. I could smell her arousal and I knew she was uncomfortable with the way her body reacted to my presence and I did not intend to make it more uncomfortable for her. She asked for my mission. I got down to the business at hand.'Am here on behalf of my pack and I need you to sign the admission forms for the procedure to be complete' ooh okay, can I have the documents, I quickly handed them over,she skimmed through and signed making it official. She took her copy and handed the rest back to me. Just as I stood up to leave. She cleared her throat.

Catherine's Point Of View

After counter signing the documents,I handed them over to him and he stood to leave immediately. I stopped him by clearing my throat.' Mmm. If you do not mind I would like to get to know you better seeing as we are mates. He nodded his head and sat back down' I thought you were uncomfortable with the idea and was going to reject me' My breath caught in my throat, he thought I was going to reject him? How  can I reject the man whose every word makes me fall in love with him already?? I quickly clarified his doubts and told him I was only surprised. I asked questions about himself and his pack. I found out they moved up here after loosing everyone to an attack on the pack. Now they are trying to rebuild from scratch and hopefully become who they used to be. My heart went out to him. He said he was not in a hurry to mark me and would like to take it slowly if I am comfortable with the idea. I agreed and since he was now in my school,I told him we would have dates and take it from there. He seemed relieved,we exchanged contacts and I offered to help with their search for accommodation. He declined and said they had it covered already. He promised to introduce me to his Alpha and colleagues. We said our goodbyes and he left. My wolf was sad that he left and I found myself missing his presence already. Girl did my life just turned upside down?

Greg's Point Of View

My mission was simple, get a couple of cars and racing bikes. I have to admit Alpha loves racing bikes. I went to the biggest automobile shop in town and got myself a deal on my hands. Alpha wanted us to make a statement but not be too lavish. For the bikes, I bought the latest Yamaha model in each person's favorite color customized with our pack insignia. Mine is red, Daemon's blue, Lewis' yellow and Alpha's lemon green. For the cars I decided on the latest BMW and Cheviot with four horse power, I had the cars and bikes customized with our pack insignia, the bloody claw. I arranged for it to be delivered at the hotel later and started my journey back to report of my success to Alpha. He would be proud,as his Delta my first mission was a success. I couldn't help but smile.

Chapter four

Brian's Point Of View

Back in the hotel, I made a lot of phone calls and by the end I was getting angry with the information I was getting. This Alphas must be crazy to hire assassins to come after me. Well this is getting interesting. I mind linked Lewis, Daemon and Greg to find out how they are faring. They said they would be back soon with good news. I can't wait. After pacing around for an hour, they returned and were smiling, well this better be good because, they will not like the news I have for them. The bowed in respect and took their respective positions on the bed." Ok let us start with Greg, how are we doing in terms of transportation?" Well Alpha we have four new motorbikes and two cars all customized with our pack insignia and branded in our favorite colors. The cars are the latest BMW and Chevlort while the bikes are the latest Yamaha racing bikes and they are due for delivery in thirty minutes.' that is nice, Daemon?' Alpha we have been accepted into the school and due to start classes on Monday. I took the liberty to take care of our schedules,we all will have the same classes and I enlisted us in the Lycan training program and I found my mate today. 'Congrats on finding your mate. Lycan training is for elite levels right?. Nicely done. Am impressed. Lewis?' We now own a pack house, fully furnished and with minimum capacity of 50. The property covers an area of two miles,it is isolated and surrounded on all sides by trees. I took the liberty to have the latest security technology installed all over the property. No one can sneak up on us. And we can move in today." Well, well, that is good to hear but I am afraid I do not have good news. It turns out the Alphas back home figured I disappeared and contacted the shadow claw pack, which happens to be a pack of the most skilled and highly trained assassins. They have in effect placed a contract on me,so we need to be careful and not waste time playing games. I figured we have say three weeks lead on them, that is how long it will take to locate us. And now that you are officially my officers, it is time to tell you why they want me dead." There was dead silence, nobody moved nor made any indication to move." I mind linked them as you all know,I was born special. Yes they chorused. But I am more special than you think, I was born an Apex Alpha, which means among Alphas,I am king. I can control other Alphas. Lewis: Alpha but that is impossible . It should be impossible but it isn't. I can impose my will on other Alphas and if I can make an Alpha submit to me, I gain his strength and that of his pack. Do you understand? They nodded vigorously. Now to the real mission at hand,there are about 100 Alphas on campus if I can make them all submit to me, then in essence I become the Alpha King and I have to do this before those assassins catch up to us. Is this agreed?? They nodded again. So, now let us start working on how to accomplish this crazily impossible mission. Okay??? They nodded in unison. Okay, Lewis does our pack house have a hospital and is it fully equipped and staffed?? Yes, Alpha, the pack hospital is up to date and I signed a contract with one of the best werewolf doctors in town. He owns his own hospital and has his own staff, who all happen to be pack less wolves,they are looking forward to working with you, Alpha. that is good. Now we have to start recruiting as soon as possible. I switched off the mind linked. Now,we need to go shopping. Shopping Alpha? Lewis asked. 'Yes, we need to shop for clothing and stock our new kitchen with food or do you guys intend to eat out always?? They smiled and said of course not. And Daemon while we are on this topic can you convince your mate to move in with you as quickly as possible??' I will try Alpha 'Greg when are our vehicles and bikes arriving?' They just arrived Alpha. 'How do you know?' I set a tracking device discreetly in all the vehicles during my inspection. As you said, we have to know where each of us are at each moment, since we are wanted men. 'Okay, ingenious.' As if on cue, there was a knock on the door. 'Yes' Mr Greg delivery for you. We opened the door and thanked the messenger, made our way to the garage, where our vehicles awaited, we signed the receipt and we were handed our keys. Alpha, here you are. Choose your pick. 'Well,well, Greg quit being a show off. And thanks for remembering it is lemon green. So guys are we driving or riding?

Daemon's Point Of View

Well, we were all impressed by Greg's choices of cars and bikes. Now this is the way to announce your presence. Alpha is definitely going to be the talk of the school when we arrive. Alpha we are definitely driving. This is going to be one hell of a day. The shopping was spectacular but my mind was somewhere else. I couldn't help but keep thinking about my mate. Even Alpha noticed I was off. 'It seems lover boy is thinking of his girl, Daemon please call her and you have my permission to use any of the cars of your choice, take her out have a good time, you need it and do not bother coming back early on my account, you are an adult and live like one even if it is only for a day' As if on cue, my phone started ringing. I looked it up and it was Catherine calling. My face lit up. Everyone was laughing. ' Common pick up the call'. I answered, hi Catherine, how are you?

Catherine's Point Of View

I was anxious, thinking he wouldn't pick up. He answered finally and at the sound of his voice my wolf purred in my head, I shut her up. Hi, Daemon, I called to check on you and ask if you are interested in hanging out today. 'please give me a minute to confirm if Alpha has any duties for me today, Alpha any plans for the day? No? Ok. Am free, where do you want to meet?' Why do I get the feeling his Alpha let him go on purpose anyway it is his lose, my gain. Ooh why do not we meet at the diner in twenty minutes? 'okay I will be there' see you. Bye. He hang up and now I am left with the decision on what to wear to my first date with my mate. I need a complete over haul on my wardrobe. Hey twenty minutes let us do this.

Brian's Point Of View

Daemon looks like he was given an overdose of joy juice. He was grinning from ear to ear. 'Daemon pull yourself together, your mate just saved you the effort do not keep her waiting. ow and here is the keys to the BMW, take her out have a good time and if you are lucky get laid and claim her. Now move' He reluctantly accepted the car keys and drove off. "Okay guys now back to our shopping. Greg we will need two new cars for Daemon and Lewis, the Chevron is yours. Work on it but be in no hurry.' After hours of shopping we finally had everything we needed. Lewis drove us to our new home and pack house for the vermon claw pack. To say it was beautiful was an understatement. The place was lavishly built and furnished, there are eight story buildings forming an arc, the main or center most building has five stories; the fifth level is the Alpha quarters with a penthouse suite, jacuzzi tubs, swimming pool and garden, the fourth floor is the officers quarters,thus Beta, Gamma and Delta,it was complete with jacuzzi tubs,a garden and a personal gym, the third floor is a private library and complete with every book you can think of, from history, philosophy, medicine, you name it,it has it, the second floor is the office complex this is where the day to day running of the pack, signing of documents, conferences, meetings and all related activities will take place where as the first floor is the pack mess hall, this is where everyone can come and get anything you need,it is complete with a 56 inch flat screen television,a kitchen that is fully stocked,love seats, recliner chairs, ps 4 game consoles among others in short this is the entertainment hub for the pack, there are four other story buildings to the left, which would serve as the accommodation for the pack,one currently being used by the hospital and pharmacy staff, the training grounds is situated right in the center of the pack, the pack hospital, school, pharmacy among others is located in the three story buildings located to the right, the new pack doctor met us on the way to the hospital and introduced himself and gave his report on the hospital facilities. They are up-to-date and fully operational. After meeting me, he fell on his knees and pledged his loyalty to me and the pack. Almost immediately, I felt power coursing through my veins, indicating I have new pack members. As if on cue, the whole staff bowed and accepted me as their Alpha. I could feel the power that only your pack can give you flowing through my system. I thanked them for their confidence in me and accepted them as my pack members. So, in one day our numbers grew from four to hundred. that is not a bad start at all. We moved in and settled into our new home.  Daemon returned later. We said our goodbyes and headed to bed early. Tomorrow is Monday and our first day on campus, we do not want to be late.

Lewis' Point Of View

it is five in the morning, I just woke up in my new room when I sensed something was off. I listened attentively and realized that Alpha Brian,was already up and had gone for an early morning run. I quickly dashed to the living room and saw him coming in soaking wet. Alpha, there was no need for you to go on a perimeter run alone. You know we can't be complacent, when it comes to your security, until the threat of the assassins have been taken care of, you are not going anywhere alone, understood? He smiled and nodded and left. Well, I am going to have a serious talk with Daemon and Greg about Alpha's security detail. Okay now, I better get ready for a new day at a new school.

Brian's Point Of View

Just as, I was rounding up my run around the perimeter of the pack. Lewis was pushing through an urgent mind link. Hey Lewis, 'Alpha, where are you?' well, I just finished my perimeter run and on my way back to the pack house, why is there a problem?. 'No Alpha, but we do need to talk when you get back. I am waiting for you' With that he closed the mind link. mmm, this Beta of mine is something else. I increased my speed and raced to the pack house. Upon my arrival, my Beta gave me a speech on the importance of my safety. I was not in the mood to argue,so I nodded and left. I quickly took a shower and dressed up in a sleeve less blue shirt,denim jeans and matching sneakers. I rushed downstairs and had breakfast. Mean while my pack officers where no where to be seen. I mind linked them, guys get a move on. I have been ready for a while now, where are you guys? We can't afford to be late. Miss Catherine gave us a time right? Hurry up.' Yes Alpha, they chorused. I chuckled closing off the mind link. They came rushing down the stairs. We all had breakfast and went to the garage for our bikes
