Everyone present was surprised at the announcement of the Duke.
It all felt like one big dream, a minute ago they were on earth in their universe and now they had traveled
through space-time to a completely different universe.
“Alright I know this will be a big shock to most of you but I want everyone to steel themselves, you have
to make the decision to not live a life of misery by dwelling in the past but instead look towards a better
future.”
Duke Ivon said as he called them to come over to the magic super computer.
The chairman of the National space research center; Professor Adam Hunts, asked the Duke if he and his
colleagues could work at the Institute and learn more about the workings of this world and universe.
The Duke kindly accepted the offer and called his secretary to escort them to the staff training center.
While some of the researchers left with the secretary and their former boss, a good number of them
stayed behind to explore the world and all that it had to offer.
All four teachers who accompanied the students were the most baffled by their current predicaments.
Thinking in their minds how worried the staff and parents would be.
“You need not bother yourself with those thoughts; I can assure you that there is no trace of your
existence left in your universe.
If you don’t believe me I can show you proof of it.” Duke Ivon said.
Just as he finished speaking his eyes began to glow a blue hue and his wand lighted up.
A huge transparent screen appeared in the sky hovering about a meter above the ground. It showed the
news regarding the explosion that took place as well as the other things related to them.
To their surprise, the headline of the news showed a terrorist bombing at an amusement park of the
supposed location of the research center.
“Now as you can see, the origin of your universe had been affected and the gods of your universe had to
find a way to fix that fault.
Without further ado can you line up so you can choose what to bring from your universe before the
incident occurred.” Duke Ivon said.
One by one they chose what they wanted to bring, ranging from their clothes to phones and other things.
Just as it was about to get to Aslan’s group they saw a student coming back with her parents.
She had chosen to bring them over instead of inanimate things.
The others felt confused and asked the Duke how it was possible. The Duke answered and said that it
was indeed possible and that he was pleased with her choice.
It finally dawned on others that their choices were wrong and they regretted every bit of it, with sad faces
they left the hall for the training grounds.
It was finally Aslan’s group turn. Dylan was the first to make his choice and decided that it would be best
not to bring his parents over to this dangerous world.
Though he was sad he endured it and chose to bring all his belongings.
Next up was Trevor followed by Jessica and Kana.
They each had the same thought as Dylan and chose not to bring their parents, with the exception of
Trevor as his parents weren’t financially buoyant and he felt it would be better to give them a better life.
He asked the Duke to help him take care of them as he would make sure to get stronger so he could
protect them in the future.
It was finally Aslans turn.
If his parents were alive he would have brought them over, all he had was the immense wealth they left
behind for him.
After thinking it through he decided to bring over the valuables and money he had.
He spoke to the Duke and asked if it was possible to exchange it into the currency of the new world.
Fortunately for him he could and he brought it all over.
The Duke was astonished at the immense wealth and knowledge he possessed.
