CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE SUNDAY MORNING, I sat at my dining table eating brunch with my brothers. The sun was making a rare winter appearance, shining in and warming the place. Internally, I was stuck in a holding pattern, part hope and part dread. In an attempt to give Luna some space to think, I hadn’t spoken to her at all Saturday.
