POV: Calla Harlow Adan and I had buried Derek in the sand, and although we had told him he was going to be out in no minute, we had gone back on our word, leaving him stuck there and incapable of any movement. “I promise not to involve myself in your conversation again,” he said, as he pleaded for us to let him out. “Why do you think we buried you in the sand just because you keep forgetting to mind your business?” Adan asked, with a chuckle. “Why else would you do this to me?” he yelled in agony, which was really funny. Adan shrugged. “Perhaps, we just love getting on your nerves or watching you suffer,” he answered, cackling like a cold-blooded wizard. I laughed as well. “Just endure for a little while, while Adan and I go for a swim,” I informed him and a groan escaped his lips.
