POV: Calla Harlow Throughout the last ten years, I had made up different scenarios in my head on how Adan and I were going to meet again if we actually did meet again. Never in my life had I imagined that we were going to come across each other in the way that we had, and even after watching him from a far distance for years, thanks to him becoming a celebrity, meeting him in person felt totally different. I had thought it would be nice to meet up after so long and catch up, but seeing him in person only triggered the bad memories of what he and his father had done to me. I didn’t hate Adan.
