my body was growing tired and I feared I was gonna give out soon. No matter how many times I put them down, they just kept getting back up. Thankfully, Gabi managed to take down one of them. If she didn’t, I don’t think I would still be standing.
They started circling me, trying to find a window in. Suddenly, Donavon’s voice broke through the mind link.
‘Here!’
Just as they lunged at me, five wolves broke through the trees. Donavon’s wolf charged forward, knocking one of them down, drawing the other one’s attention. The pack took over, ripping away at the two.
