My blood ran cold. I had been searching everywhere for her. I completely lost track of time and felt terrible for leaving her hanging. After I checked her usual spots, I decided that she must be back at her dorm. I didn't even bother knocking. I figured she was probably studying and wouldn't hear me anyway. And man, was that stupid. So stupid.
I casually opened her door and the scene that greeted me pushed the air right out of my lungs. Elijah’s back was to me, his head was bent low, and Gabi was tilted upwards. God, he was kissing her!
